Very good! I made a few minor changes based on what I had in the kitchen. I reduced the butter, used sun dried tomatoes instead of peppers since that's what I had, didn't add milk or cream (didn't notice anything missing) and added capers. We really enjoyed!

This has become a regular in our house. There are so many variations in the veggies that you can do. We have used spinach, broccoli and cauliflower.

This always gets inhaled in one sitting. Our 3 1/2 and 2 even like it...they eat more of the noodles, though...I didn't have cream this time but it still turned out heavenly.

The shrimp was fantastic in this dish and the cayenne was a nice kick. Didn't care too much for the portobellas (I thought it was a little too heavy for the dish) so next time i'll just use regular shrooms. All in all will definately make again!

I also did not add the salt because I thought the alfredo would have enough salt on its own. This recipe was delicious, well be making it again soon!

This recipe is wonderful and tasty. I often used can mushrooms, green peppers and thin spaghetti (anything I happen to have in my pantry)and it is still great. I think the cayenne makes the whole dish yummy.

OMG!!! I loved this recipe. Had to make some slight changes because of what I had on hand. I used parmesan instead of romano and fetticini noodles instead of penne. I could eat this weekly and never get sick of it. One of the best recipes on this site that I have tried!!

My DH took this to work to share because he and the kids loved it so much, they accused me of being a gourmet chef! His co-workers said it tasted like something from a fine restruant. I have made it several times and it is always good.

hTis was excellent! I didn't have mushrooms or cream but I added carrots, and I substituted parmesan for romano. I also added ground walnuts to it which gave it a wonderful flavor. I'll make this again in a second!

This is yummy! My husband and I really liked it and thought it tasted like something we would get at a restaurant. I might have put a little too much cayenne pepper but it gives the dish a great kick.

This was very good! I love alfredo when done right, but I often find that it's too bland when made at home. This recipe gave it a lot of rich, creamy flavor. I omitted the mushroom and didn't have Romano cheese, so we sprinkled Parmesan on it instead. I also used half and half instead of cream, and I use Bertolli garlic alfredo sauce. My husband and I both enjoyed it. I think I'll try it with chicken next time. Thanks!

Outstanding! I wanted to use what I had in the house, which came very close to the called-for ingredients. I used white mushrooms, and although I didn't have a red pepper, I happened to have a jar of sun-dried tomato alfredo sauce. In addition to sauteeing the onion mixture in butter/olive oil, I added about 1/4 cup of good quality dry sherry (I do this often, and it adds a nice dimension to many saucy recipes). Also added a handful of fresh spinach and a couple of Tbs. of pesto -- this added beautifully to the color, taste, and texture of this recipe. Oh, 1/2 tsp. cayenne is plenty "hot" for us. We'll make this often.
