It was good, but I've made better from other Vodka sauce recipes. Also, the amount of sauce this makes is sufficient for half the amounf of pasta called for.

This was great! I used 1/2 pkg of mild sausage and didn't use any olive oil. WAY more than 4 servings though. Can't wait for some leftovers at lunch tomorrow! This ones a keeper! Thank you for posting!

Great Recipe! I didn't change a thing although next time I might add a little more red pepper flakes because I love spicy!

This is quite yummy, but I like the Penne w/ Vodka Sauce recipe from this site a bit better. I added 4oz of pancetta in with sweet turkey sausage. Also, I put the vodka in at the same time I added the garlic and red pepper (upped it to 1/4 cup). Finally I used fat free half and half instead of cream. Made the recipe MUCH healthier and thought the taste was still very good.

This was really good, but I made a few changes to use what I had available. I used fresh basil rather than parsley, grilled chicken breast rather than sausage, and I sauteed some cherry tomatoes to add a fresher taste. Used penne rigati to soak up the sauce, and topped with freshly grated parmesan cheese. This will stay in my rotation!!

This is my favorite dinner!!! I use hot sausage because I like spicy. I use whole wheat pasta and turkey sausage to lower calories. I also add an extra link or two to the sauce. It even tastes delicious without vodka. Thanks for a WONDERFUL recipe!

I love this recipe. Have also tried it with basil instead of parsley and hot Italian sausage instead of sweet. VERY good; even reheated.

We enjoyed this recipe, but it was a bit oily and I only used about half the specified amount of olive oil. I would make this again as the flavor is good, but I would only use a tablespoon of olive oil.

This was pretty good. I left out the red pepper flakes because I'm not a fan. It's a change from the usual pasta and marinara sauce. I would make this again.

This is fantastic!!! My family loves it! My husbands favorite dish! I have to make this often! Sometimes I double the recipe to be able to freeze leftover sauce for later. I use Gianelli italian sausage. The links are about 4 to 5 inches long! Great stuff! I have made this with the cream and without and both ways are yummy! Thanks for a great recipe!

This was really good. I added chicken instead of the sausage, fresh basil, oregano, and no parsley. After it was finished cooking I added a small can of tomato sauce to make it a bit more creamy.

I don't eat meat so I took that out of this recipe but did everything else it said except I used rotini twists instead of penne (I like them!). Great recipe, my boyfriend loved it and told me it tasted like his mother's food (highest compliment). I don't like spicy foods but this was still good. My boyfriend loves spicy food and he liked it too.

This was ok. I have a Vodka Sauce that I usually make that is very very similar, but I think I like it better. I liked the sausage in it since I do not normally add it, and unfortunately I can not make it spicy because of the kids. Good, but not spectacular. Update: I make this all the time now, it has turned to a five star for our family. I use a pound of sausage, and add the cayenne, the kids really like it.
