This was good. I used fat free half and half with more parm. I also used a package of pre-cooked chicken to save time. I thought it needed more than a 1/4 c of pesto. I added more than 1/2 c and I could have added more. I will make again. oh I also added mushrooms and a few sundried tomatoes. yum

Delicious Recipe!!! I added a little cream cheese to the sauce, for some extra zip. Makes great leftovers, too!

Yum! I ran up to my computer to try to find a quick dish to use cooked chicken, pesto, and bowties that I had in the kitchen. I tossed the chicken and garlic in olive oil for a few minutes and subbed in skim milk for the cream because that's all I had. I doubled the pesto and added a little cornstarch at the end to thicken. All this took less than 20 minutes and my husband thinks I'm a genius. I am, thanks to you!

this recipe is SO GOOD. i added shrimp and chicken to mine and served over penne. the cream adds a nice richness to the end of the sauce. i omitted the butter and it still turned out great. :) i also served it with garlic biscuits.

A nice change to the typical Pesto Pasta. I used fat-free half & half instead of heavy cream and it turned out well. I just simmered a bit longer to reduce the sauce.

Perfect!!!! The only change that I made was to add more pesto, other than that, everything stayed the same. I always season any meat that I am going to cook before hand so I never have any problems with my food being bland, Goya adobo works great. I can also say that I use the Classico pesto and have never had a problem with reheating this dish. I have passed this recipe around and everyone loves it!!!! Definitely a keeper ;)

WOW this was so good, and a huge hit for an evening with friends. my friend isn't so big on super creamy, so i substituted the chicken stock for half of the cream and low fat half and half as I heard from others - but it ended up a little on the runny side. i added some flour and it turned out perfect and stuck to the insides of the rotini noodles i had on hand. the pesto, parmesan, garlic and cream combo is so wonderful and delicious! we're adding this to our rotation for sure.

I'm not normally a fan of cream-based sauces but my fiance is and I love, love, love pesto so I thought this recipe might be a good one to try. We weren't disappointed! I mixed in a handful of sun dried tomatoes and some frozen veggies (green beans, broccoli, asparagus and edamame). He absolutely loved it and is looking forward to the next time we have it for dinner. I want to try it with less cream next time--we'll see if he notices. :)

Really yummi. Tried it with smoked turkey instead of chicken and that really gives it a punch. I would recommend using slightly more pesto, say 90 g instead of 60.

A great addition to this recipe, also adds a great smokey flavor is apple smoked bacon. Just fry or microwave up about 6 slices and chop into bits and add with the cream and parm. Gives the pasta a little more substance and adds an amazing flavor!

This was a really good recipe, which I followed exactly, except I added about 1/2 c. cheese instead of the 3 TB called for. I will definitely make this again.
