I couldn't believe that all 5 family members loved this dish! I added some color with chopped tomato, yellow squash and green zucchini. I also used half&half. I have one vegetarian so made a separate dish using the same veggies/garlic/cream/pesto. One of my pickiest eaters said she was going to take the leftovers to work for dinner all this week! In her 20 years she has never said this! Thanks!

I made this tonight. My family agrees that this is not only a delicious, but quick meal. It took me approximately 30 mins to make. I did an Italian garden salad along with this. I will be making it again!

Excellent... with a few changes for us. We used more pesto, and spaghettini pasta instead of penne. And we went with the chicken broth instead of the cream. We will definately have this again :)

We've had this a couple times and we really like it. I like to top it with chopped tomato. I think I end up using more pesto than called for.

I've used shrimp and chicken... loved it both times.. I like how it is not as thick and heavy as alfredo... though I love alfredo too!! This is a nice change.

My family loved this meal. However next time I will put some onions chopped up. My husband said it would be really good with shrimp in it too!! So i will try that next time.

Yum! This dish is easy and very versatile. I cooked the chicken breasts whole and chopped up after. Used white wine to deglaze the pan, but couldn't resist a touch of cream (hang the calories), which made the difference between good and great. Can easily make this with salmon or just veggies or even beef. I will be making this again!

THIS WAS GREAT AND SO SIMPLE! NEXT TIME I MAKE IT I THINK I MIGHT CUT THE CHICKEN IN SQUARES INSTEAD OF STRIPS.

A quick and tasty evening meal which was especially enjoyed by my picky youngest daughter. I used an extra clove of garlic and added it in when the chicken was half cooked as I have a habit of burning garlic. I also used extra parmesan. Thankyou for the recipe Marysteve

This dish was absolutely delicious!!! I will definitely be making again and again! I used half and half instead of the heavy cream and added a dash of white wine. I also added some broccoli and cauliflower towards the end of cooking. Make sure to use shredded parm and not grated!! I only had grated on hand, and it did not melt well. Made the sauce look lumpy, but it still tasted wonderful! I also doubled the sauce and added a bit more pesto than called for.

I didn't have penne, so I used egg noodles, and I didn't have cream, so I used some unflavored yougurt that I needed to use up. Fantastic!! My 11 year old son was leary of it, but after a taste insisted on seconds!! I'll put this in the monthly rotation.

Instead of heavy cream, I used fat free half and half and also added some white wine to the sauce. I got rave reviews and will make this again.

I've got to be honest, we were not fans. I give it 3 stars because I think it has potential, but we felt like the chicken was pretty bland and when the recipe is pretty much chicken and pasta, flavor in both is key. If I ever try this again I'll definitely add some more flavor to the chicken and add some veggies or something.

Mmmm! I really enjoyed this. It was the first meal I cooked with all the kitchen goodies I got for my wedding, and I made it again yesterday. I used half&half, since the Trader Joe's near me didn't have heavy cream. I also upped the garlic and parmesan cheese, and added minced onion (sauteed with the garlic and chicken) and diced tomatoes, for color. Tasty! Thanks!

Easy and delicious! I used half milk and half chicken broth as others have suggested to cut down on the fat content.
