This was an easy and light meal. Since it's just my husband and I, we had plenty for leftovers the next day. At first I was worried about the chicken to pasta ratio (only two breasts to a whole boxx of pasta), but it was perfect. I used whole wheat penne in place of regular.

Even though this dish had great reviews, I was hesitant because it sounded a little bland. Not the case! This dish has a light feel (not covered in sauce or anything) and is so satisfying. Just make sure you add enough spices and flavor to the chicken. Very good!

This is a nice base recipe. After I doctored it up. My family loved it. In all fairness to the recipe my family does prefer a more saucy pasta. The aspargus tasted great and this was a wonderful way to get my kids to eat it. Thanks for the recipe.

As written, tastes pleasant;as expected -nothing fancy. Decided to add bit of butter, onion powder, chopped onion, mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes and additional chicken broth. Picked it up a bit.

This recipe is fantastic and hearty!! You can also use canned salmon instead of chicken which is also fabulous! Just de-bone and remove skin and flake in with rest of ingredients. Yum!!!!

I did end up marinating the chicken for a bit beforehand in a garlic and herb marinade. That added a bit of nice flavor. Instead of asparagus I used broccoli and steamed that in with the stock and garlic. The end product yielded a perfect dinner for two and leftovers for lunch tomorrow! The taste is very light, like mentioned, but it is very good!

Thanks Laurel! This turned out really well! I started out half-ing the receipe because it was just for me and my bf but I kinda kept adding to it (chicken broth). I used egg noodles because that's what I had, and I also added some chopped mushrooms just for a little something extra. I also added some dried basil leaves in at the end and it added a light hint of the herb flavor. It indeed is an easy recipe to follow and had a nice light flavor. Right before serving, I threw on some parmesean (as stated in the recipe) and some red pepper flakes. DELICIOUS! And my bf loved it. Thanks!

Delicious! Light and filling at the same time! Used vegetable broth rather than chicken (what I had) and added a red bell pepper cut up into 1 inch chunks for the last couple minutes of the steaming. Looking forward to having it cold for lunch tomorrow!

Yummy & light. I added mushrooms & used turkey instead of chicken. I also didn't put enough salt in while cooking so it was bland until I added extra at the end along with extra parmesan.

Found this VERY bland. Even added some of my own black pepper, extra garlic and onion powder... but I still won't be making this again.

We really like this but on it's own it's just too bland. I do add some cracked black pepper, parsley and whatever other herb/spice hits me at the time. It's a little different each time I make it. I believe it's a great base recipe.
