Definitely very light, I like things a little saltier so I added garlic salt. Loved how easy it was to make.

I used 3 chicken breasts. I thought it was good--not the best though. I'll have to figure out what to add to spice it up just a bit. Overall its tasty and I would make it again.

AWESOME!!!! I am totally a new cook (hence the name "novice"). My husband LOVED this recipe and actually went back for seconds which is rare. I did take the suggestions of other viewers and added cayenne pepper, 2-3 garlic cloves and extra garlic powder. I increased the parm to 1 cup. Wonderful filling but not "heavy" pasta dish. Will be in a regular rotation at our house!

Great light recipe! thanks! I changed it up slightly by grilling... I sprinkled the chicken breasts with Mrs. Dash Garlic and Herb Blend and let it sit in the fridge for a couple of hours. I drizzled about 2 tbls. olive oil and 2 tbls. minced garlic and black pepper onto the asparagus and wrapped it in foil and grilled it with the chicken. Grilling it gave everything a nice smokey flavor. I also used whole wheat pasta and low fat parmesan. My picky kids loved it too! (:

Very bland, even after I marinated the chicken in soy, fresh thyme, salt, and pepper. Added mushrooms and onions to the mix, but it still lacked taste. I will not be making this again.

Great base recipe. I used asparagus and mushrooms. I am not sure why this recipe asks for 5 tbsp of oil. I used pam. Just at the end I drizzled a little olive oil on the pasta, maybe 1 tsp. This recipe is very adaptable. I bet it tastes good with bell peppers or zucchini.

So quick, so easy, so tasty! I also added some mushrooms like other users, and it turned out wonderful. For something so simple, the taste was spot on. I also used real garlic instead of the powder. Definitely will make again.

yummy dinner! I used Johnny's garlic spread and seasonings instead of plain garlic powder. My family loves garlic, so that gave it an extra kick!

This is a good recipe, but as others have noted, can be a little bland if you don't spruce it up somehow. Last night I used scallops instead of chicken, in addition adding lemon juice, pine nuts, and a little half-and-half to the sauce at the end. Rice can also be substituted for pasta, although that begins to be a whole different recipe... In any case, great way to keep the recipe light and healthy; and the scallops really work well with the lightness of the dish.

This recipe was just okay. I used fresh garlic along with garlic powder, and also mixed in parmesan cheese before serving, but still found it bland. I also added sauted mushrooms and onions. Maybe if I tweak it a little more, it could be a keeper. The base is there, it's just missing the oomph.
