I loved this recipe so much I was thinking about making it again while I was eating it. It got a thumbs up from my husband and my kids (9 & 7). I added sun dried tomatoed, pine nuts, and artichoke hearts. Yummmy. I can't wait to eat the small amount of leftovers for lunch tomorrow.

This recipe is so simple and delicious. It's a perfect summer meal; light and flavorful! The only changes I have made are to use two garlic cloves instead of garlic seasoning, and a bit more broth.

A nice alternative to the usual heavy pasta dish! The only thing I changed was using fresh minced garlic when cooking the chicken instead of garlic powder. It's a very versatile recipe and you can definitely mix and match other veggies - broccoli, mushrooms, etc. You can add crushed red pepper flakes for a nice kick, too! Thank you for sharing!

I thought this was a wonderful recipe. As suggested by other reviewers, I added sauteed mushrooms and seasoned salt (Lawry's). My husband added crushed red peppers to his as well and my whole family enjoyed it. Thank you for the great recipe.

I found this was a very basic recipe so I made a few modifications and it was a definate hit with the family. I fried up some fresh mushrooms & red peppers and seasoned it up with Roasted Garlic & Red Pepper seasoning. I added a little extra chicken broth as well. A great light pasta dish!

Mouthwatering good. I actually like that there is no sauce. Next time I make this however, I am substituting the chicken for shrimp. Can't wait.

I used a 20 oz. can of chicken and also added in some peas since I knew my 2 year old wouldn't eat the asparagus -- both were great! I also had to add an extra half cup of broth and about a quarter cup of milk in order to have remotely enough sauce to even cover all that pasta. I too added extra garlic (used jarred minced garlic), pepper, and seasoned salt. In the end I mixed about 1/4 cup of parmesan, as the recipe calls for, in the entire dish, but also added a romano/parmesan blend on top of each individual serving. Yum!

This was very light, delicious, and easy to make. The only thing I did differently was to add lots more Parmesan cheese at the end - it probably took out a lot of the healthiness of the dish, but it sure made it delicious!

This was really good. I didn't add all the penne pasta as it would have overloaded the chicken mixture. Family loved it! Will definitely make it again.

This was very good. I put a lot of seasonings so it won't be bland, but only used what was written in the recipe. I added mushrooms with the chicken so that was good. only fault... too dry. I don't like my pasta swimming in grease either, but this could use SOMETHING. not sure what goes with it though... this makes a lot of food! i didn't realize the recipe was for 8 so we have a lot of left overs. It barely fit in my 12" deep skillet. i had to be careful when mixing it... and even then things fell out :D next time, i'll half it. anyway, 4 *'s because it was a little too dry for me.

This really was pretty good, but I felt like I needed to alter the recipe a bit before it would have tasted just right. I marinated the chicken in italian dressing and sauteed chopped onion with the chicken. I added extra garlic to the broth/veggie saute and added pesto and quite a bit of crushed red pepper to the pasta mixture. With this alterations it did taste good, but without them...it would have been too bland for out tastes.

Just ok. Too much pasta and not enough chicken. Needs more flavor additions. I added sun-dried tomatoes and topped with chopped fresh basil and this helped,

This was a really good recipe. I added hot pepper flacks and some half and half to make it a bit cremer and spicey. It tasted alot like a dish we ate at a nice resterant.

I really liked this dish. I added some jarred sundried tomatoes to it. For the fresh garlic, I just crushed some and put it in with the penne (after it was cooked and drained)as I waited for the other part to be finished. I think the pepper flakes would be a nice addition, but I used tabasco on my serving and it was good. I had it again for lunch today and enjoyed it and I will want to make this again. I was fine with it not being saucy...I did add a small amount of chicken broth in the batch when it was all done right before I added the extra olive oil. Thank you for the recipe.
