I sauteed the cut-up boneless chicken legs and drumsticks with olive oil and thinly sliced red onions. Added white white, several diced cloves of garlic, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Put in my asparagus which I had steamed separately. Added generous amount of chicken broth. Put in some red pepper flakes for a little pizzaz. Sprinkled a combination of parmesan and romano grated cheese on pasta and mixture. Topped with parsley flakes. Truly a light summer meal.

Just ok, thought it lacked any real flavour. Don't think I will make it again.

This recipe is good, but some nice additions: Chopped onion (sauted in pan after chicken, add broth directly to softened onions), white wine (add half a cup with the chicken broth), sundried tomatoes in oil (add a few chopped once you add the chicken back in.) I love this recipe because it is a good base and you can do it with many other green veggies. Thank you!

A tasty light meal. Makes a HUGE recipe though, so you may need to cut in half. Can't wait to try it with mushrooms as another reviewer suggested.

This was a wonderful recipe! I have an in home daycare and I am always looking for good healthy things to feed the kids. They LOVED this one! I did make a few changes, I didn’t use fresh garlic rather just a little garlic salt. I used a 12 oz box of Rotini as it was what I had on hand and I used broccoli instead of asparagus as I thought the kids would be more incline to eat it. Even my pickiest eater LOVED it!!!! I will make this often!

We are obviously in the minority here, but this dish did not impress my family. Even with following the suggestions of others to season very well (including lots of red pepper flakes and crushed garlic), use extra broth and add cream cheese to the sauce, it was very unremarkable. I very much enjoy simple dishes and while this was very easy to create and definitely edible, it was also plain and unmemorable. I am disappointed, especially after the raving responses this dish received from so many others!

This was a lovely recipe, that looked and tasted like a good restauarnt pasta dish. I made a few changes, substituting salt with seasoning salt and using crushed garlic. I also used 12 oz of whole wheat pasta, and just because I thought it would add nice colour, I added a diced tomato, though I don't think it made much difference to the flavour. I will be making this often.

Was very healthy tasting. I would not use as much pasta , and I used frozen asparagus spears, cutting in 1/3 were better also. I will make again with the changes I made to it.

I made this for dinner last night because i wanted to do something healthy & light. It was just perfect! To give a little more flavor, I added half a can of diced tomatoes and doubled the chicken. My boyfriend (who is a very picky eater) seemed to very much enjoy this!

Not bad! I used whole wheat pasta and also added some broccoli, some red peppers and the mushrooms. Definitely needs 3-4 cloves of fresh sauteed garlic (not just powder.)

This is a good basic recipe but it needs more seasoning. I browned the chicken with EVOO that had garlic and herbs in it. I also used several teaspoons minced garlic. I cooked the chicken about halfway and then added the broth and other ingrediants instead of taking the chicken out. I also used about 1 cup of chicken broth instead and added basil and more cheese.

This was fairly good. I wasn't jumping up and down about the flavor. I even boiled my asparagus in both chicken stock and in the pasta water before boiling the pasta (half and half). I used some of our famous basil and oil mixture in place of some of the olive oil. That definitely added flavor - I wonder how much more bland it would have been without it! In all, it wasn't a bad dish, but I would certainly add some herbs and spices next tiome to give it some added flavor.
