This was so great. I followed the exact recipe with the exception of 2 extra slices of bacon (leftovers). Even my 1 & 3 year old ate it. They even asked for seconds! I will keep this as a favorite!

Very good! I added Canadian bacon to make it a main dish without adding so much fat. It was all eaten quickly; thanks for a good recipe! (I also used whole wheat egg noodles.)

EXCELLENT dish! I was trying to find a way to use up my fresh baby spinach before it went bad, and this was perfect. I made a few substitutions to make it work for us, like whole wheat pasta, and three diced, fresh tomatoes, uncured, nitrate-free bacon, and added 2 green onions to the sautee. The green onion added an excellent extra dimmension of flavor, without being over-powering. I also sauteed the spinach with the bacon/tomato mixture, to avoid a gritty texture often found in wilted spinach. We also added a sprinkle of parmesean and romano cheese over each serving. SO good! Even my 21-month-old loved it!

It can't get easier than this! I came across the recipe looking for ways to use left over (wilting) spinach. I just so happened to have a box of bowtie pasta, and some uncooked bacon too, and the staple garlic! I made this in less than 20 minutes. I surprised even myself! And it was GOOD! Perfect light, quick meal before you head out the door. I love simple pasta salads like these, and this one is definitely joining the rotation.

I made a few modifications to the recipe and gave it a little kick and less fat hopefully. I used a can of diced tomatoes with jalapenos, removed a lot of the fat from the 6 pieces of bacon and didn't use olive oil, just the bacon drippings. We also used whole wheat penne and sprinkled a little parmesan on our plates. This is a really great dish!

This is a quick and easy meal. I used Italian-style canned tomatos that were already seasoned with basil, onion, and garlic. I only used 1/2 lb of bacon and also added parmesan and cherry tomatos.

I doubled the recipe and followed it to the T (minus most of the olive oil) and this was amazing. My whole family loved it (and there is 6 of us) Thanks for sharing

What a fantastic dish! I was amazed by how much flavor it had with so few ingredients. I like my spinach cooked so I added it to the bacon tomato mixture and left it for a few minutes. I also added parmesian cheese to the finished dish. I highly recommend this recipe!!!

I thought this was very good. I did change it somewhat. I used around 7 slices of bacon and ended up dumping half the grease. I didn't use the oil at all. I put the spinach in with the bacon like others suggested.I used fresh tomatoes and scallions, but didn't cook them. Instead I put them in the pan after everything else was mixed. I don't like mushy tomatoes. I also added lemon juice. It sounds unpleasant, but if you like lemons, you'll like the juice in it. I then topped it with shredded parmesan and asiago cheese. Very Good!

Delish, but I would definitely not call this a "quick light meal." Quick, yes, but light? No way!

Great taste. I did not have garlic (left it out) add the spinach to the bacon and fried it as others sugested - gave it a great taste. Used fress small tomatoes.

This was very good...easy, quick, flavorful! I gave it a 4 because I plan to make 2 changes next time...first, I plan to drain off some of the bacon grease before adding the garlic. Second, I plan to add onions. But otherwise, this was a family hit!

Very good but made some changes- a lot of them. Used 16 oz pasta (who uses only 12?) No olive oil- the bacon made enough grease. Increased bacon to 9 slices, was about 3/4 lb. We hate tomatoes so liked Katerinajb suggested, I used a jar of roasted red peppers. And I also used 1 bag of baby spinach. After the bacon was done cooking (dumped a little bit of the grease out but left a lot in) I sauteed the spinach in with the bacon & grease as Server33 suggested (we're not watching out figures either, lol). Added the red peppers to that & once heated tossed with the pasta. Served with Parmesan on top. Next time I will cut the garlic down to 1T & may try adding some red onion to saute with the bacon. This was very good, thanks for the recipe, sorry I changed so much.

This is always a hit at my house. Very easy and very tasty. The only changes I make is that I use an entire pound of pasta, 7 slices of bacon, and top with grated romano cheese. This is a great recipe!
