DELICIOUS!!! This was really good, I had to make a few adjustments though because I didnt have penne. So i used farfalle(bowties). I also didnt have diced tomatoes, so i used crushed. It was sooo good. I know some reviews stated that they didnt like wilting it, but I actually think thats a wise thing because if you sautee the spinach it wilts down to almost nothing. I cooked the bacon till crispy, and drained. Added sliced red onion and garlic just until slightly tender. After i drained the pasta over the spinach, i put in a large pasta bowl so that the spinach would be on top and salted a little. Then added the sauce. Tossed and added parmesan cheese. MMMM i love the little crunch the bacon gave and it was sooo good!

My family and I loved this recipe! Followed the recipe exactly but did add fetta cheese on top. It is a very pretty dish with the green and red, makes a nice presentation. Thanks for the recipe!!

Simple and delicious! I decided to not use the olive oil at all...bacon is greasy enough, so I just cooked and drained that, added my garlic and a 19oz tin of tomatoes with garlic/olive oil. I added a few handfuls of fresh spinach to that mixture and then added a few handfuls while I was draining my pasta. Mixed all together and voila, dinner! Fresh grated parm on top and it was yummy! Would definitely love to try with turkey bacon, only used regular as I had some to be used up.

This is a good and very easy to make dish. All of the ingredients complimented one another very well. After following the recipe, in the end I added just a touch of cream to the sauce and it was delicious. However even without the cream added the sauce is great!! This is a tasty meal!!

I'm giving this 3 stars because my husband seemed to enjoy it, but I wouldn't rank it as one of my favorites. It was a nice dish to try, and tasted pretty good, but didn't really stand out at all. I think I would have liked it better with half the amount of pasta, then there wouldn't be quite so much plain, blah pasta to eat in addition to the smaller amounts of spinach, bacon, tomatoes, etc. Thanks, anyway!

This made a fast lunch but I will not make it again. It didn't have much flavor. I would have prefered a sauce over it. I didn't like canned tomatoes in it. I think fresh tomatoes would have been a better choice.

This was a very simple recipe to make. The only change I made was I omitted the olive oil and added diced tomatoes with garlic and olive oil. It was great. My picky 6 year old loved it and my one year old could not get enough. Will definately make it again.

The dish is very tasty. I think when I make it next time I will not cook my bacon untill it's crispy. I didn't really like the crunch when I bit into one. Also, I don't recommend adding oil to cook the bacon in because it has enough grease on it's own. I drained the bacon fat as well. THX.

The addition of some Parmesan cheese on top takes this from okay to really good. I love that it's a tasty dish than can be made in a very short time. Will definitely make again.

My husband & I love this recipe! My kids weren't thrilled, but did finish it. The only things I did differently were to use whole wheat rotini pasta, baby spinach, and parmesan cheese on top. Sensational! Will make again & again!

Very delicious! Quick, easy, and even tasty the next day! I would never think to use the water from the noodles to wilt the spinach but doing this saves time and extra work! I also added mushrooms to this recipe. A++++!!!!

Quite yummy. I only had turkey bacon in the house, so I used that. I also tossed in some sauted red onion. A little fresh parmesan on top might be a good addition next time. I served this with baked eggplant rounds and enjoyed my meal

I found this recipe kind of boring. I think that I will add some Parmesean cheese to the leftovers and hope that livens in up a little.

This is delicious and very easy! Good for a quick dinner when I got home from work, which I'm always looking for. I cooked the bacon the night before for another recipe, so I just crisped it in the pan tonight. Very good. Used more garlic than called for, and topped with parmesan (seemed a bit bland). Otherwise, perfect, and we loved it. Thanks!

This was very quick and simple to prepare. I did add additional ingredients to give this dish even more flavor! In place of the canned tomatoes I used chopped sun dried tomatoes in oil, cut up red roasted peppers and added grated fresh parmesan before serving. Next time I will use turkey bacon in place of regular.

Well, I'm eighteen and I just began cooking full meals. This was perfect! Easy and Delish. I made it for my mother and I and she loved it. I will definantly make it again, I did make alot of changes though because I didnt have everything. I didnt have canned tomatoes so I cut up my own, I didnt have Penne Pasta so I used the colorfull curly ones it worked just as well. And I didnt have fresh Spinach I only have frozen but the meal turned out amazing anyways. Fives stars!

Yum, yum, yum!! This was a huge hit! It looked delicious and I needed to use up some bacon, so I gave it a try. Funny thing is, hubby was tired of me trying new recipes (I think I'm becoming an allrecipes addict!), so I had to talk him into it, but he was raving about it in the end. I LOVE that its so easy and only really required 5 ingredients - perfect "busy night" meal, and my family loved it! Everyone went back for at least seconds. Add a little "snow cheese" (my kids' term for parmesan cheese) to the top and its amazing! This one very may become a staple recipe in our house.
