Delicious! I'm not a pecan pie person, but I made this for Thanksgiving and it was a big hit. I had a slice and it was definitely the best pecan pie I've ever had!

This is a great recipe and I am so impressed that it doesn't contain corn syrup! I didn't have quite enough pecans on hand and it still was wonderful!!

I love that it didn't have corn syrup, but it is definitely different than the pecan pie I'm used to. Tastey, just be prepared for a bit grittier.

I've made this a couple of times and it gets great reviews. It is so much better without the super sweetness of the Karo syrup

Hi Elaine: Just add my thanks to the rest. I have been cutting out corn syrup, so have been looking for a recipe without it for a few months. THIS IS DELICIOUS PIE That said, I did every modification to reduce calories that I could, and it still tasted lots better than traditional pecan pie. Changes as follows: Whey Low brown and white sugar substitute Egg substitute, Smart Balance for butter, no crust Extra vanilla, non-fat milk and 2 tbsp of bourbon (probably undid all the other good things I did-lol) A delicious pie. Thanks again Judy in WA

Fantastic! It doesn't have that overly-sweet typical pecan pie taste.

I had one little slice of this pie. My family gulped the rest of it down. I'm not a big fan of pecan pie, so this was made for my husband and kids who loved it.

it was absolutly delish, it might ful you as it is cooking becase as it bakes it starts to puff up like a cakeand as it sits out is goes down. i used a deep dish pie crust and added more pecans and a went by her recipe too and made two pies. they were both gone by the end of the day. the deep dish made it so i had more crust (just because i like alot of crust).

I made this for Thanksgiving and I wish I made a pecan pie w/ my usual recipe. It tasted OK, but the texture was grainy and it didn't look very appetizing.

Not too bad, I missed the 'usual' texture of pecan pie, this one was somewhat dry and gummy. The flavor was good though.

Living in rural Australia it is hard to find corn syrup so this recipe was just too good to be true when found. But the best part of all it was delicious. Have made it several times & has turned into a family favourite. I also always make my own pastry so I think that always makes it extra special!

Mine never set before I had to serve it, I left it in the oven for way more time than the recipe called for and it still came out runny. I let it set for 30 more minutes to no avail. It was runny but also delicious. I would make this pie well ahead of time. Once it set (and I ate it the next day), it was Incredible

I tried this recipe during this past holiday and everyone loved it!! This was the first time that I made one without using Karo syrup, so I was afraid to try something new, since I was baking for guests. However it was a hit to be repeated!!

this was very very yummy... my husband wasn't sure because the top developes a thin crispy crust that doesn't look like a pecan pie "should" look. However, after the first bite he was hooked!
