Wow! These are wonderful! There are 3 cups of sugar in the filling. I used brown & white. Other than boiling over a little in my oven, these are perfect!

This recipe was delicious! I halved the recipe, made it in a 13x9 non-stick cake pan, and made sure to include 1 cup of brown sugar in the filling. I did find that I needed to par-bake the crust for a few mins longer than recommended, as well as bake it with the filling for a few mins longer than recommended, but that may have been due to me using a dark, coated, pan. Great recipe!

ADD 3 CUPS SUGAR TO FIllING(per Taste of Home's recipe-obtained from their website). Can also sub 1/2 white sugar, 1/2 brown sugar. These are delish!!

this recipie is very good but when you put the butter in the crust it is hard to mix it in with it. but my aunt made them from the same recipie that i did and they were alot better! so i thinj she knows hot to put the butter in the crust correctly.

These are even better than Pecan Pie. Every one loves them.

Made half the recipe and used a 9X13 pan' Get a 10X15 pan! Yes, there is the brown sugar missing from the listing for the filling. I used 1 cup as suggested by another review. Easy enough to make, which I like! They turned out great (other than being maybe too thick) Hubby said hey were better than pecan pie! I agree. YUM! Will definitely make again !

A BIG WARNING...Before trying this recipe, please note that sugar is not listed under filling ingredients, yet when telling you to mix ingredients for filling, it mentions sugar. I have written to Reiman Publishers (the publishers of Taste of Home) whereI believe this recipe came from and they have agreed to get back to me as soon as possible. I did make the bars because I already had the crust made before I realized the discrepancy on the filling ingredients. I added a cup of brown sugar for one-half the recipe. They were delicious! Hopefully, Reiman will get back to me.

Easy to follow recipe. I cut it in half and reduced the nuts to 1 1/2 c. and added 1 1/2 c. of sweetened coconut. I had so many compliments and requests for the recipe. This is a keeper!

Great treat. This was a big hit at the day after thanksgiving open house. Easy to make and a great candy taste. Reduce the baking time on the crust slightly or it could get over toasted if you have a teflon pan.

This is a definite hit. The reason for the 4 stars instead of five is that there is no need in baking the crust at all or as long as it says before you add the filling. The outside and around the edges were burnt. My husband said that it was so good he ate both pans full almost by hisself burnt and all!!!
