I was hopeful after reading the reviews. I followed the directions to the letter and was very disappointed in the end result. It came out like a bland brownie in a pie crust. However, when I decided to review the recipe, I found a video attached to it which is not the recipe written out. I may give the video recipe a shot, but I will not be making this pie again.

Very simple, very rich recipe! My sister who is a chocoholic will love it. A little bit goes a long way, fudgy!!! the tast is 5 stars but I rated it 4 due to "presentation". I would prefer to put more decorative touches on it, maybe some dollops of whipped cream with pecans, something for presentation, but since it could be re-heated nicely with icecream whipped cream wouldn't work well for that.

Fantastic! I am not a pie fan, but this is wonderful. Very similar to a restaurant in Houston, TX called House of Pies- Texas Pecan Fudge- which I was trying to duplicate. Success!

The BEST pecan fudge pie recipe that I've tried. Didn't change a thing.

Whipped a couple of these pies up tonight. One for dessert and one for my Mom for Mother's Day. They turned out perfectly and tasted wonderful! I will definitely be making this again.

I was looking for a pie that would not have the consistency of chocolate pecan pie, but still have those flavors and this fit the bill perfectly! I did reduce the sugar in the recipe to 1/3 cup since it already had so much corn syrup in it, but that was the only change. I do find if you toast the pecans first their flavor is much improved in all pies, thus I did so for this pie. Everyone loved it, even those who are not big sweets eaters (it's not ultra sweet).

This recipe is a great find. Very easy to make; and yes, the pie has a wonderful, fudgy texture. I've made this recipe several times and have gotten many compliments. This was my husband's first pick for a Thanksgiving dessert and yes, we will be having it.
