Yum, Yum, Yum. I gave this recipe to my 16 year old brother and he made it for Thanksgiving. It was a hit it was gone long before the apple, pumpkin or traditional pecan pies. I can't wait to make it myself. Thanks for sharing this great recipe.

Instead of topping this pie with caramel ice cream, I drizzled two tablespoons of pure maple syrup all over the pie, and the taste was awesome!!!

Wow is all I can say. This is a must try! Very easy! My son doesn't like coconut but since the pecans and coconut are toasted, he really liked it.

I was looking for a "different" dessert..this was Great! I recieved several compliments on the flavor of the toasted pecans/coconut combined with the cream cheese mixture....I used a deep dish pie shell so therefore increased the cream cheese to 8 oz, 1/2 cup conf.sugar and 2 cups whipped topping.

This pie was so good!! I wasn't sure when I was making it that is was going to turn out, but I was wrong. Make sure that your ingredients such as the cream cheese are completely softened otherwise it will be lumpy.I also used more caramel than the recipe requires. Will definately make this again.
