Love this. Easy and attractive, a great way to dress up plain frozen peas, and I can't wait to try it with fresh. I did use fresh mushrooms rather than jarred, though.

Wow, this was so SO delish! It was only a side dish, but it was my favorite part of the whole meal! I'm so glad I tried this recipe. It is simple to make but it tastes absolutely amazing! Followed recipe to the letter - wouldn't recommend a single change. Thank you!

I like the recipe better with fresh mushrooms and less thyme. Less sugar, too. With modifications, it is great. Recipe makes peas more tasty and interesting to serve. Recipe "as is" is just okay.

Too much sugar and I realized I only like thyme with my Thanksgiving dinner. I also realized I only like peas used sparingly (but a must have) with fettucine, beef stew and my home town store's luscious potato salad.

I wanted to dress up my side dishes for Thanksgiving. This was a hit! My guests wanted the recipe to make at home I substituted bacon for the ham and it worked out very well.

We all really liked these. The boys all picked out the mushrooms and while I love mushrooms, I didn't really think they added too much. The flavor with the onions, thyme, garlic etc was great with the peas. Next time I make it, if I don't have any mushrooms handy I won't worry about them.
