This was really good. I doubled the recipe to feed for people and made it in the oven. Smelled great when baking.

I used apple in place of pear and frozen blueberries (thawed). Yummy.

I used blackberries in place of the blueberries, and we loved it! Thank you for sharing this simple, but great, recipe!

Quick, easy & delicious! I used fresh apples and blueberries...I didn't have any pears. I doubled the topping and baked for 30 minutes. Yummy! I'll definately make this again.

Everyone love this, not too sweet and very good. I've made this twice in the passed three weeks. (I had to use up the pears:)

Love that this is for individual portions. I used frozen peaches and blueberries and it was awesome!

Fantastic recipe! I used frozen blueberries, which produced A LOT of juice, so I think I'll use fresh whenever possible. Definitely double the topping; it really makes the dessert! This recipe doubles (triples... quadruples... ha ha) quite well.

I used some other reviewers' ideas and added my own twist for a healthier and delicious dessert! I had two Taylor's Gold pears (firm, even when ripe) and 1 1/2 cups of fresh blueberries, so that's what I used. I put them in an 8x8 baking dish and added about a tablespoon of blackberry brandy, a light sprinkle of cinnamon and organic Sucarat and stirred. For the topping, I used the Sucarat for the sugar, organic rolled oats for the oatmeal, and Smart Balance stick butter. I too love this topping, so I made extra. The topping had a little "nutty" texture, due to the type of oatmeal I used, but I liked that. I'm adding this one to my recipe box!

Wow, this was fantastic! Quick, easy, and a perfect amount for two people (or one person if you're anything like me when it comes to dessert). I used frozen blueberries, which worked well but did result in a lot of juice (which I happen to like, but if you don't you could add some cornstarch). I sprinkled them with a tsp of white sugar but I shouldn't have - it was a bit too sweet. For the topping, I used whole wheat flour and threw in some flax seeds for extra health benefits. I also added extra cinnamon to suit my tastes. This recipe was great - and even pretty healthy, as far as dessert goes!

This was so simple to make and so tasty. I did jazz it up some. I added some 1Tbsp of sugar, 1tsp of flour, a pinch of salt and a pinch of cinnamon to the pear/berry mixture and doubled the topping mixture...(can never have to much crispy topping...yum). Baked as directed and then added a dollop of vanilla ice cream after it cooled slightly. YUM-O!!
