Ingredients

  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • 1 1/2 cups crunchy peanut butter
  • 5 cups high protein crisp rice and wheat cereal
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter

Directions

  1. Combine 1 cup of sugar and corn syrup; bring to a boil but do not cook.
  2. Add peanut butter and cereal.
  3. Put in 8 x 4 inch pan and pack down. Cool and frost if desired.
  4. To make Frosting: Combine last 4 ingredients and boil 1 minute; beating well. Frost and cut into bars.
