OMG this was a surprise - it was incredibly delish!!!! And we know our soups, we do a soup nite one nite a week, have been for about 9 years since Tues nites were usually a kid activity night. This was simple to make - although I did the prep (except the potatoes) the night before. Next time I might add just a squeeze of lime juice and some chopped cilantro to give it a thai twist.

Yummy! We loved this soup. It will now be my #1 winter soup. Very easy to add any veggie. I took out the broccoli and added green beans and corn. Loved it!

Most amazing soup - definitely a winner. Had no canned tomatoes - substituted 8 oz can tomato sauce. Seems like any vegetable would work in this soup.

After reading the rave reviews, I decided I needed to try this. Sorry, my husband and I did not care for this at all. The soup itself was quite bland and the peanut butter gave it a very odd taste to us. My husband and I love peanut butter, but not this meal. Oh well, glad others like it so much, I am glad I got to try it once.

What a flavorful, wonderful soup! I did add 1 tsp of cayenne but otherwise made this recipe exactly as written. There was no overwhelming peanut butter taste, however the peanut butter added a nice consistency to the soup. I made the whole batch and gave half to some friends, and they raved about it. My husband, Ray, said to put it in the "Ray Loves This" file :)

This recipe was a hit in my household, my kids loved it! I have to say that is a major accomplishment with all the different veggies that are in it. I feel good making this soup, knowing how nutritional it is and that the kids will eat it. Two thumbs up!!

I was just not too crazy about this soup. I made it according to the directions and left nothing out but when it was done it was just a bit bland to me. I juiced one lime in it and added about 1/2 cup sour cream and it was much tastier to me. I think cilantro would have also been a really good addition, but I didn't have any. I just added some red pepper flakes and green onions to it for my husband when he gets home but I haven't tried it that way yet. I'll have to try it tomorrow for leftovers.

This was ok. Not as great as I expected after reading other reviews. Left over, the veggies began to taste like peanut butter. Next time I will use half the peanut butter and less veggies.

Everyone loved this soup. Someone commented that it had an "Asian" taste which I think was due to the peanut butter. Next time I might put a little less peanut butter, but we loved this recipe.

I wasn't sure what to make of the addition of peanut butter to chicken soup when I first read this recipe; but I was so intrigued I had to try it. And boy am I glad I did. The peanut butter does magical things to the flavors in this soup. And it also gives it a smooth velvety texture. Wonderful recipe.

This soup is wonderful! I did omit the zucchini and added some cayenne pepper to give it some kick. I am now addicted to this soup and love to have it on a cold day. Thank you.

AMAZING!! I made a few changes to make this for 2 people: I thawed 1 chicken breast, and simmered it with onions, carrots, and spices. Then drained, put back in the pot and added the veggies, simmered, and added about a 1/2 tbsp peanut butter. I used fresh green beans that I french cut and chopped zucchini(trying to use up what was left in the fridge!) and omitted the tomatoes because I didn't have any. You'd never know there was peanut butter in this soup and the flavor is amazing. My soup tasted like delicious, southern, comfort food-without the guilt!! =)

This was my first try at a soup recipe and I'm so pleased with the results. I prepared the recipe as directed except I didn't have the canned tomatoes or green pepper on hand. We loved it! I can't believe how easy it is to make a great chicken soup. Thank you!

this was very very good. i used the food processor for carrots and onions and some of the potatoes which initially i thought made the carrots and potatoes too small, however in the end added to a thicker stew-like soup which was absolutely delicious!! also added brown rice, which made it thicker (personally i like thick soup). as many previous, adding cayenne is a must.
