1 (1.25 ounce) package
taco seasoning mix
iceberg lettuce, chopped (reserve some for garnish)
tomato, cut into wedges for garnish
green onions, sliced
1 (15 ounce) can
black beans, rinsed and drained
French salad dressing
crushed tortilla chips
shredded sharp Cheddar cheese

My daughter and I were driving home from basketball practice and stopped at the store. I had her pick a recipe from the Allrecipes spinner app for dinner and this is the one she picked! We WILL be making this again.
Very very good! My husband actually gave this a 4.75 stars and he never does that. I used store brand taco seasoning, restaurant salsa leftover from take out, half the black beans called for, and a mix of Catalina and Deluxe French since I was nearly out of both. No one said anything about the peanut butter flavor, although I noticed it but maybe because I was the cook and knew it was in there. Thanks we will make this again!!!!
Peanut butter makes anything better! This is great, and has extra protein.
We really enjoyed this salad. I used a fat-free catalina dressing because that's what I had and liked what the salsa added to the flavor profile. As a peanut butter freak I had high hopes for the addition of it with the taco seasoning and meat, but my hopes just weren't realized. It was good but not in the nutty creamy way I was hoping for.
