I made this recipe last night, but I made it in a 9 x 13 pan. . .so it came out really thick. . .Peanut Butter Oatmeal Cake/Brownies. I didn't have any butter, so I used Neufchatel Cream Cheese (4 oz.) in place of the butter. . .and it is DIVINE!!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND this recipe.

...reminiscent of peanut butter brownies from the bakery in my home town...I used 1 1/2 cup flour and 1/2 cup whole wheat flour and didn't notice a difference. Yum!

I made these to bring with me to a family gathering which included all ages with a variety of taste preferences. This is a simple, yet not at all boring, dessert and easily appealed to everyone there - I, myself, ate 4!

These are quite good - more like a brownie than a typical sweet square. Without frosting they remind me of a health bar with the peanut butter and oatmeal and not being overly sweet. If I feel like a sweeter treat I'll frost some of them. Thanks for the recipe!

Don't have a 15x10, used two 8x8-too thick took 35'+, frosting melted on cookies-added cocoa-tasted pretty good but very messy to cut. Frost when room temperature
