I Made these for *Recipe Group* 04-15-12. I made these using mini paper liners. I piped the pudding because I had hard time smoothing the top with the spoon. Messy to eat but it is better if you don’t thaw it so the cool whipped is not melted. I had a lot of leftover of the pudding so I just piped them on to the wafers. The combination of chocolate pudding and peanut butter tasted very good. It reminded me of Reese’s chocolate. May be I will make it into a pie like other reviewer did and just mix all of the cool whipped into the pudding.

Made for Recipe Group. Easy to make and messy to eat. These would be the right size for minis with the wafers I used. The whipped topping and the pudding mix dwarf the cookie otherwise. By the time the pudding mix is thawed enough to eat the whipped topping is melting letting the whole thing slide and squish all over the place. The pudding mix with the peanut butter has a great flavor however! Using just that part I sandwiched between two wafers and it works much better and is just the right size to pop in the mouth. And it would make a great pie or served just as a pudding. Thanks for the recipe.

Recipe Group Selection: 14, April 2012 Huge hit with my husband, niece and co-workers. My vanilla wafers weren't very big (but not minis) so I put them in small muffin papers. By doing so, I froze 70 mini treats. I used my small cookie scoop to add the pudding mixture to the top. I want to make these again using butterscotch pudding in place of the chocolate. I will make again using the small wafers as we liked them as 2-3 bite treat. (One bite for my husband) Once removed from the freezer, they do thaw very quickly. But, they do refreeze nicely without effecting the appearance of the treat.

I made this into a lighter treat. I used "free" whipped topping, cold fat-free evaporated milk (for a creamier and richer flavor) and sugar free pudding mix. The recipe didn't specify what kind of peanut butter to use, I used chunky. I did not bother to make two layers of pudding and whipped topping--I folded the whole container into the pudding/peanut butter mixture. My family all liked these but they didn't really care for the Nilla wafers in the bottom. The pudding part was really the best part. It really did remind me of the Pudding Pops that I ate as a child. When I make this again, I'd make a whole pie out of it with either a graham or Nutter Butter crust OR I'd make Pudding Pops out of them, using dixie cups and popsicle sticks. I'll try that, then re-review. EDITED REVIEW: I made this a second time the next day into a pie, using a homemade Nutter Butter crust (1 1/2 cups crushed mini-Nutter Butter sandwich crackers, 6 tablespoons butter) and then making the "filling" as I did before with the "free" whipped topping, cold fat free evaporated milk, chunky peanut butter and sugar free chocolate fudge pudding mix. I poured the filling into the homemade crust, then froze it until dinner. I took it out as I was cleaning up after dinner, it was ready to cut into slices by the time I was done. My family thought it was one of the best pies I've ever made. They thought it was much better that way. My husband ate two huge pieces, topped with additional "free" topping.

Made thesefor Recipe group...YUM, YUM, YUM, we LOVED these! I lightened them up a bit by using FF whipped topping and SF chocolate pudding mix...you couldn't even tell the difference! I topped ours w/ some peanuts for a little more texture. I used white paper muffin cups and had no trouble removing these from them. These are like eating sort of an ice cream type sandwich, but not, lol...SO GOOD, super simple and a definite keeper! Thanks fo sharing. :)

Made these for *Recipe Group* 04-15-12 These taste like a Peanut Butter Fudgesicle with Cool Whip on it. I had to use mini paper liners since I purchase store brand vanilla wafers and they were tiny. They are difficult to eat as by the time I let them sit out long enough so I could bite through the frozen peanut butter-pudding mixture the Cool Whip was thawed completely. They're messy eating though fun to make. I couldn't spread the pudding mixture over the Cool Whip so I used my small cookie scoop to plop it on there. Fun for kids I bet as the submitter states.

Awesome, I added a second wafer on top to make a sandwich with it, much less messy for the kids. Love to keep these in the freezer for a anytime snack.

Awesome! This were so great. Don't really need the vanilla wafer. Next time I am going to try the low fat/sugar free pudding to make them even lower calories...and maybe in a cup like a popcicle. The kids loved these and so did I!
