I wasn't sure my girls would like these... they love my pancakes and usually we put pb on top of them, so putting the pb in the batter was a fun idea. They turned out great. I just had to watch them carefuly and I had to turn the heat down pretty low so they wouldn't get too dark. They cook a bit differently than my regular recipe.

My three year old, a plain pancake lover, enjoyed these more than I did. I always make chocolate chip pancakes for myself, so naturally I added chocolate chips. I combined my wet ingredients in my stand mixer, added the sugar, and finally the pancake mix. I used complete pancake mix because that’s what I had in the pantry. I did not have evaporated milk, so I used skim milk and almost a teaspoon of powdered sugar (thanks for the tip, ChefJulie1). I added a little more milk than called for instead of water. I poured less than ¼ cupfuls to make the pancakes a little smaller and easier to flip. I tried the honey butter but preferred a smattering of tub butter, a couple of good shakes of powdered sugar, and a drop of maple syrup. If you like dessert for breakfast, give these a try.

My kids gobbled these up. They ate like I hadn't fed them for days! I only used 1/4 cup water, and that seemed like a good consistency to me.

I've been making this for a few years and my daughter LOVES it. I substitute skim milk and a little powdered sugar for the evaporated milk. Then I usually have all the ingredients to make it whenever she asks for it.

LOVED IT! My kids ate it right up with no complaints. Reminded me of my mom's peanut butter cookies.

I love peanut butter. These were awesome and worth the time to make. I used crunchy peanut butter and it gave them a butter taste then just smooth peanut butter. 5-Stars all the way. I am not a big butter fan but made the butter anyways. It was really good, too. The only change I made was I added a little bit of flour to thicken up the batter a little bit.

Okay. So the recipe specifies one cup of baking mix. Nope. More like a cup and a half. And if you were to make these, you might want to increase the sugar just a bit. I found them tough, because I had to stir in another half cup of baking mix. My kids ate them but they weren't enthusiastic about them. These might be great for someone, just not for us. I won't be making these again.

We really enjoyed these pancakes. I'm not a big pancake fan and usually don't put butter or anything on them--just fruit, but I liked the combo of flavors and enjoyed the honey butter. I used chunky peanut butter and used only a little bit of water to water it down slightly--the chunky pb made it thick. A nice Sunday morning breakfast. Thanks!

Mmmmm - peanut butter goodness! We enjoyed these very much, although they were really thin. I don't think the water is necessary and I'll leave it out next time. I'll also try to remember to add chocolate chips. I'm sure that would make them even better! Didn't make the honey butter - just topped with syrup. Excellent!

Very tasty! Simple and quick and the kids really liked them. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because they weren't quite peanut buttery enough for our tastes. However, it was a really nice change from plain old pancakes.

I love these. I did what the other poster said to spray the spatula with a cooking spray so it don't stick. I love to put chocolate kisses in with it taste great with maple syrup and some whipped cream :)

Not fabulous, although I do like the idea. Putting chocolate chips in the batter while they were cooking really made these...without that they would have been less exciting. I liked the honey butter, though, and added a bit of cinnamon to it.

Very good! My kids and husband loved them. (I'm not a big pancake fan.) I tripled the recipe and used 2 cans of 12 oz. evaporated milk and left out the water. I also added half a bag of mini chocolate chips. I used a nonstick pan and spatula and cooked on level 4, and had no problems with sticking. Thanks for sharing!

These pancakes turned out great! I used Hungry Jack pancake mix and store-brand creamy peanut (but I bet crunchy would be good too). Also, try adding some chocolate chips or some cocoa powder to make chocolate peanut butter pancakes. One thing I found with this recipe, use a MUCH lower temperature than called for (I used the "2" setting), or they'll burn. Also, spray your spatula with cooking spray, it really helps. I also didn't make the honey butter, instead I used just a bit of syrup.
