We found this candy to have too many marshmallows, so we didn't like the texture. We had rather have the butterscotch haystacks.

I really like the idea of these but the coconut just doesn't seem to belong. I added extra peanuts. Next time I will omit the coconut, add twice the peanuts and maybe 1 cup of reeses pieces. Easy and they keep in the fridge well for a couple of weeks.

Very, very easy and delicious. I used one bag of peanut butter chips and one butterscotch. The flavor was fabulous.

more than 5 stars. If u intend on giving this as gifts, I suggest you get it out the door ASAP; otherwise you will be the receiver of the intended--it is just that good. creamy, mallow, a synch to prepare. did it in a double boiler; I feel I have more control over the heat that way. picked up cashews by mistake; no problem...tastes delicious. Used JIF extra crunchy pb. smooth, mallow, creamy, and beautiful presentation. mmm, so so good.

Made for Recipe Group. Easy to make, I used crunchy pb, but it could have used more. Used slightly less marshmallows. Was really creamy and sweet. Would like to try this with chocolate! Thanks Rita.

Recipe Group Selection: 10, December '11 I made this as one of the candy selections for a cookie/candy exchange. I think everyone will be pleased with the taste of this. I used all butterscotch chips and kept everything else the same. The next time I would make in a smaller cookie sheet so that they are a little thicker. I will also increase the peanuts and coconut as the marshmallow is the most detected ingredient in this. I used half regular and half French Vanilla Snowman marshmallows. I like the color variation that they provided. This would also be very good made with all peanut butter chips or even mixing different flavors of chips i.e. milk chocolate-peanut butter, white chocolate-butterscotch, all chocolate - this recipes makes it very simple to customize it to your taste buds.

I made this for Recipe Group. I thought it was good, but Hubs really loved it. I made a half batch using an 11x7” baking dish that I lined with non-stick foil, so there was no need to grease my pan. I used about 2/3 butterscotch chips and 1/3 peanut butter chips. The flavor was very good, but I think the peanuts and coconut got lost. I thought they were barely detectable. If I make this again, and I may have to for Hubs, I will increase the amount of peanuts and coconut.

Made this for RECIPE GROUP. This is so easy and delicious! One shortcut I recommend is using crunchy peanut butter and omitting the chopped peanuts. If using your microwave to melt the first few ingredients only microwave for 30 seconds at a time, stirring when microwave stops, this should NOT take more than 2 minutes total. It will not seem like the mixture is melted but just keep stirring, do NOT put back in microwave, the residual heat will melt everything else without microwaving (melting chips this way keeps them from seizing up). I lined my pan with foil before greasing to make for easier removal and cutting of the candy later. Mine set up in the fridge in a half hour, very fast. This is a great recipe, like peanut butter fudge meets rocky road (peanuts and marshmallows!), a definite keeper! Thanks, Rita Goshaw for submitting!

Be careful, these are very addictive. I like to use one bag each of either semi sweet OR dark chocolate chips and a bag of the Reese's chips. My family absolutely loves these. You can also make "pieces" out of this by dropping heaping tablespoons on wax paper. Great kids addition to cookie platters. NOTE: Try this recipe with the french vanilla marshmallows.
