Directions

  1. Melt peanut butter and honey together in a saucepan over medium heat. Dissolve brown sugar into the peanut butter mixture; bring to a simmer for 2 minutes.
  2. Mix granola, oats, rice cereal, chocolate chips, and fruit together in a large bowl; pour peanut butter mixture over the granola mixture and fold to coat.
  3. Grease a cake pan. Pour the granola mixture into the prepared pan and press into a flat layer. Cool at room temperature until set, about 15 minutes before cutting into bars.

I've tried a number of granola bar recipes on this site, and hands down, this is my favorite. Moist, chewy, and just loaded with flavor. Followed the recipe to the letter and wouldn't change a thing!!

These are so good and easy to make! I was disappointed that my chocolate chips melted when I poured the hot honey peanut butter mixture over it, but it still tasted so good that it didn't really matter:)

I knew if I kept looking I would finally find a recipe that suits me! I substituted Stevia for brown sugar.

We love this recipe. I've tried it twice now. The first time I followed the recipe. The next time I added wheat bran to add fiber. Loved it both times. Great recipe. Putting it in my recipe box now.
