I was craving cookies and decided to try this recipe. The cookies turned out great and delicious! The ingredients are simple and are pantry friendly.

although they tasted okay, I did not like the fact that these flattened out and after making the crisscross, could barely see it when they were done, they were so flat. Followed the recipe exactly w/no changes. You really have to watch these...30 sec. makes a big difference in how they look. I liked the way mine turned out on the airbake sheet as opposed to non-stick sheet. Not worth trying again and leaving out the soda like another reviewer mentioned. Was disappointed w/all the rave reviews.

Very good cookie. Baked at 8 minutes and they came out perfect. Got softer after a day in an air-tight container.

I baked this recipe both with and without the baking soda, but I personally prefer it much better without. The cookies hold their shape and have a firmer (yet still VERY soft) texture. So easy and tasty, everyone asks for this recipe! Thanks!!

These are great!! I baked them at 375 for 8 minutes, rather than the 10-12 listed. They flew off the plate at our weekly bible study!!!

Excellent cookies - great flavor. I doubled the recipe, though, and only got 5 dozen, so I don't think one batch yields 48 cookies.
