I came across this recipe whilst looking for one I had helped cook & adored at a kind of holiday camp. This had the same ingredients, so I gave it a go. I made a few changes; reduced the sugar by 1/2 a cup, omitted the vanilla & subbed raisins for the peanuts. I also used crunchy peanut butter (my favourite). However, even after the sugar reduction these were too sweet (the ones we had made before had been really rich, like dark chocolate), and tasted too much of peanut butter. It was easy & yummy, but this recipe needed too many changes for me to give it 5 stars.
