My family loved this cake...a definite addition to our family favorites. I increase the amount of peanut butter to 1/3C because my family loves peanut butter. Also, I iced the cake with the same filling and whipped 4oz of store bought chocolate icing into it. Awesome!

I guess I'm in the minority here but I didn't love this cake. It wasn't very flavorful and for the first time ever I threw part of a cake away because no one ate it. For me it sounds better that it tastes.

I used this for a friend's b-day cake and got a kiss on the cheek. Huge hit - I don't really like peanut butter and even I loved it :)

Delicious and easy. I don't usually like cool whip, next time I will try whipped cream.

I tried the bundt cake but wasn't impressed so I changed it to 2 9" layers. I quadrupled the filling (yes I had some left over) and doubled the whipping cream/chocolate chips. I used very high quality chocolate chips. It was well received.

The peanut butter filling alone deserves 5 stars! I am not sure how people can say "the cake was dry." Newsflash: It's a box cake! If your boxed cake is dry, you are doing something wrong. HINT: decrease water and add a little extra oil when baking a chocolate cake, it will make it super moist and very decadent.
