A VERY GOOD RECIPE I made mini-muffins. I made a few changes, and they came out great. First of all I only had 1 and 1/4 cup bananas so I used a little cinnamon applesauce to make up the rest, I also added some walnuts and some of those two in one flavored chocolate chips. peanut butter and milk chocolate. I also added maybe a 1/2 - 3/4 cup of jif creamy peanut butter, and topped them with brown sugar and cinnamon mixture before baking for 10 minutes. All in all very good!!!

I made this recipe as written. I thought it was very good. The peanut butter chips add a lot of richness which is nice. But be careful. A little goes a long way. One tip I will give is that your bananas will be easily mashed up if you beat them up inside their peels with your fists or bang them on the counter a few times. After that finished them off in a bowl with a spoon.

Just made these today and they were fabulous! I think they would have been great without any changes, but I read all the reviews and did the following: used mixture of 1/4 c butter & 1/4 c margarine; added 1 tsp vanilla; 1 tsp cinnamon; 1/3 c chopped pecans and definitely recommend sprinkling a brown sugar cinnamon mixture on top for a crunchy finish.

Excellent! My fiance and I both loved them. I added a couple tbsps of pineapple sauce(we didn't like it on it's own) and sprinkled with fresh ground cinnamon and sugar after baked. I am ready to make more already!

Delicious! I added 1/2 t each of vanilla and cinnamon for extra flavor, 1/3 c chopped pecans & used canola oil instead of melted butter. Batter seemed a tad dry so I added about a teaspoon of crushed pineapple I had in the fridge for moisture. My family LOVED them. Will definitely make again.

I think this recipe is perhaps one of the best muffins I've ever made-I did them in mini muffin tins and increased the amount of peanut butter chips-they were perfect!

I am not sure why this recipe received such good ratings. I made it exactly as written. The PB chips are so incredibly sweet that they seem like they would be better in a cookie or cupcake than in a muffin. I brought these to work, and they didn't get very good reviews there either. I would think that kids would love them, though.

We really enjoyed these. Even though it's difficult to find the pb chips at my regular grocery store, I'll make the trip somewhere else to get them just to make these muffins.

These were actually better (I thought) after they sat a day. I was ready to give them only 4 stars after I ate one right out of the oven but by today they were really tasty. I followed the recipe exactly.

Soo delicious. Tasted like a peanutbutter banana sandwich. Maybe next time I'll add chocolate chips too.

I didn't have any peanut butter chips in the house so used cinnamon chips. They were a great substitute. Even my picky 8-year-old was gobbling them up!

I just finished making these and all I can say is...WOW! These are great! I did nothing to change the recipe, though I did sprinkle a bit of brown sugar on top of the muffins to give it a little crunchy sweetness on top. They are perfect. It made about 15 average sized muffins for me so next time I think I might double the recipe since I have a large family. Thanks for the great recipe, I will use it again!

Quite good. Easy to make, too. I didn't use the peanut chips, though. Maybe that would make this a 5 star recipe, but I didn't have them on hand.
