These are pretty good, not so much "pie" as it is "cheese cake-y". I didn't have any pie filling so I used some Strawberry Jam and that worked pretty well, although I did reduce the baking time to about 18 minutes. They're still a bit messy with the Jam, but I have to agree with other reviewers when they say that they're yummy.

These are delicious! They are very messy though. It is more like a pie baked in a cake pan but nevertheless tasty!

These bars tasted great, not too sweet. They were really messy though and didn't stay in bar form when I cut them. I think I should have let them cool more before cutting them apart.

These bars are very good! My family really enjoyed them. I sprinkled a smidgen of granulated sugar over the dough before baking to minimize the bready taste.

We loved this one and added it to the Christmas goodies table for a change of flavor. It was pretty easy to make with the assistance of my kids. One suggestion, it tastes best eaten within the first 24 hours. The almonds loose their crunch and the crescent roll crust gets a little mushy after that. I would use it up within 3 days max, and refrigeration is a must. Delicious!!! (one suggestion, try adding fresh peach slices for more fruity flavor)
