I made a syrup by boiling my water and sugar for 5 minutes until it thickens slightly. This made a pretty good sorbet even though I don't have an ice cream maker.

This is good but not very flavorful. I made it according to the recipe with fresh ripe peaches from the farm market. Perhaps they need to be very ripe.

Maybe it was my peaches, but this sorbet was very tart and not all that sweet. Seems like it could have used a little more sugar to me. Unfortunately, I don't think I will make this again.
