This was my first time making ice cream, so I did a lot of research beforehand. I didn't have many peaches, so I halved the recipe and still made over 2 quarts after it froze! Some tiny changes I made: I only used a cup and a half of sugar and added 4 tablespoons of peach preserves and a dash of honey to the egg mixture. I also took someone else's suggestion and added about a fourth teaspoon of nutmeg for some spice. Even though we used ice cubes instead of crushed ice, it still turned out creamy and smooth and it tasted great!
