I added a pint of fresh blueberries to mine & it was delicious! The only other change I made was to use 6 eggs. I would love to try this with cinnamon bread sometime. Also, I break up my bread into bite-sized cubes - I think it all bakes up better and is easier to serve. My family loves these easy breakfast bakes - thanks Geraldine!

It's like having Peach Cobbler for breakfast. Delicious! and easy to prepare. I used frozen peaches which made it easy.

Very yummy. I've also made this using a can of pieach or apple pie filling in place of the peach mixture. Turns out great and makes it even easier.

This recipe is the same as Grandma's Peach French Toast. Anyway, it's good but needs some tweaking. I used bread that I had made--Cinnamon Raisin Bread I--and still sprinkled cinnamon on top. The bread was mushy on both sides, maybe bc I turned it over before baking. I love peaches, but I'm wondering if elminating those and just using peach syrup in the egg mix would make for a better french toast. Also, I think the recipe calls for way too much egg mixture. I would halve it next time--way too much liquid when we were done. Thanks for the recipe!

This was very good but since it was too sweet for our family, reduced sugar by l/4 c., butter by 3 Tbsp., and added l/4 t. cinnamon to cooking liquid. I made 3 rows in l3x9" pan perfectly w/sliced peaches exactly. Going to try w/pineapple as my husband's favorite fruit. Also great reheated the next morning!

The first time I made this some of it was mushy and some too crisp. So I now dunk each piece of bread in the egg mixture. I also sub the peach syrup for the water.

We had this for breakfast on Christmas morning and it was great! I thought it was a little sweet but still great and my husband loved it. Next time I will use more peaches though.

I made this for a girlfriends brunch, served with fresh sliced strawberries and blueberrie and mimosas! It was very good. All my friends raved about it and had a second helping. I used thick sliced bakery bread that I set out all day to get stale. I baked it uncovered and didn't get any of the mushiness mentioned in other reviews. No need to eat with a spoon when made this way.

Nice flavor, but I didn't really care for the consistency of this dish. The bread was crispy on top, but very mushy on the bottom.

Followed the directions, but my french toast came out like mush. Not appetizing at all. Even my kids didn't like it. I bought bakery bread that I sliced thick myself. I won't be making this again.

YUMMY! I will make this again. Make sure you use a BIG can of Peaches drained. Served it this morning for Christmas Breakfast. Everyone loved it, might even make this with other types of canned fruits the next time! Wonderful!
