This turned out perfectly for me! I didn't drain the peaches at all. I followed one reviewer's advice and applied the butter by using a fine cheese grater and a frozen stick of butter. I also sprinkled about 2 T. of sugar on top of the cobbler about 15 minutes before it came out of the oven. Thanks for this easy and delicious recipe! I will definitely make it again.

I made this yesterday a nd It came out great. I made it in a 9X9 and I only used about 3/4 cake mix. My only suggestion that i didnt do is to flatten out the clumps, and make sure its flat before I toppe dit with butter. I cant wait to try with variations!

Wow, this was awesome! I made this when my in-laws came over and had to hide the box of cake mix from my mother-in-law so she wouldn't see that it wasn't homemade. I agree with draining the peaches before using. I'd bet this recipe would work well with cherry pie filling and chocolate cake mix. Or blueberries and lemon cake...the possibilities are endless!

YUM! Good for when you are craving cobbler or pie and don't have the time time for the real thing. We ate it piping hot from the oven with vanilla ice cream...YUM!

I don't think this had enough peaches, it could definitely use an extra can. I used most of the juice and it wasn't too soggy. I didn't care for the flavor of the cake either but I'm sure that had to do with the mix I chose. My fiancé who isn't a dessert eater ate all of his then finished mine.

I tried it with just one can of peaches and it was much better, not soggy. Thanks for the recipe.

Excellent dessert! I made this over the weekend for some friends and everyone loved it, including me! You couldn't ask for a better dessert that is soooo easy to make! Tastes a lot like the Peach dessert pizzas from Pizza Inn.

I give this a five because it was easy and tasted good. I did notice that the cake batter crust had inconsistent texture. Some parts of the cobbler had gritty texture. Still giving this a five because I probably didnt press the cake mix into the peaches enough. I will add a extra peaches and syrup next time.

Have been making this for years. My family really enjoys this with a French Vanilla cake mix instead of basic yellow cake. Melting the butter seems to completely change this, so I always take the time to use cold butter that can be thinly sliced and laid out. If you don't have ice cream try a simple drizzle of vanilla glaze (milk, powdered sugar, butter, & vanilla extract).

Absolutely wonderful - people have asked for this recipe a lot!!! I used a butter pecan cake mix instead of the yellow, 3 15 ounce cans of peaches, sprinkle chopped pecans and brown sugar/cinnamon on top --- WOW! If you like coconut, sprinkle some of that on top too! SOOOOO GOOD!

I used a pastry cutter to blend the butter and the cake mix and tossed some pecans in, too. It's a MUST to double the peaches, I can't imagine not doing it. This recipe is so quick, easy and inexpensive. It's a definite keeper!

It was ok, but pretty much tasted like cake mix and peaches. No big "Wow!" However, I will say that if you are in a bind where you need to throw something into the oven in 90 seconds to take to a party....this is a good candidate.

I did appreciate how easy it was to make. However my guests and I found that using the cake mix made it terribly sweet. If you are a huge sweets fan this recipe maybe for you.

This is a great recipe. However, I made a few changes. I used 1 29oz. cans of peaches with juice, plus a 16oz. can w/o the juice. I sprinkled cinnamon over the peaches before covering with cake mix, sprinkled a mixture of brown sugar and cinnamon over cake mix. Finally, I shredded butter over topping as suggested by another reviewer. It turned out great, not soggy at all...baked for 60 minutes.
