This is really good. I used two cans of light peaches. Also instead of melting the margarine I sliced up a stick and a half into small slices and put them on top of the cake mix. I think this way you get better coverage and you get no dry spots. I will definately make this again.

I was a bit nervous to make considering the simplicity of this cobbler, but I am so glad I did. I made it for a group of 7 friends and they all raved about it. I served it with french vanilla cool whip and it was heavenly. Be sure to take a spatula and press the cake mixture into peaches. Also, I used one large and one small can of peaches and it was perfect!

Wonderful and so impressive for company. It was so easy I was ashamed to tell people how I made it.

This recipe is so easy to prepare. We loved it! I followed someone's suggestion of sprinkling brown sugar over the top.

Tried this recipe, for the short time it took to prepare, I thought it was good. Used peaches in light syrup instead of heavy syrup, if I didn't it would of been way too sweet.

So good! I used peeled and sliced fresh peaches sprinkled with a little white and brown sugar. I used another reviewer's idea and shredded a chilled stick of butter over the cake mix--this worked great at evenly distributing the butter. Served warm with vanilla ice cream--to die for!

We all loved it! I used eight fresh peaches without adding any liquid. It turned out just right.

I LOVE THIS RECIPE!!!!! It is so easy and cheap and makes your house smell great. I made a couple of small changes. I used peaches in light syrup. I added a drained can of chopped peaches because I like a lot of fruit. I also used light butter. AFter it cooked for 15 minutes, I took it out and sprayed it down with butter spray. When it was done I took a spatula and lightly pressed the top crust down to make sure it wasn't too powdery since I used light butter. Just a few extra steps to lighten it up and the reviews were more positive then when my mother in law made it with real butter. It ijust isn't as rich and the topping is crisper. I have tried this with blueberry pie filling which was ok but not as good as the peaches. I also tried it with apple pie filling which I would not recommend.

Great recipe. I used canned peaches in light syrup in order to reduce the sweetness factor. It turned out great. It was still sweet, but not sickening sweet.

This recipe, along with the suggestions of others, provided an incredibly easy, delicious dessert! To speed things up even more, I quickly grated a chilled stick of butter over the top. It worked out great.

I've made this several times now and everyone loves it! Definitely mix the cake mix with peach syrup first. I melt the butter and spread it with a brush. Easy and Good!

My husband was making funny "yummmm" and "Ummmhmmm" noises as he ate it- and he couldn't believe it tasted soooo good, but was so easy to make (he saw me make it from start to finish in approx 5 minutes). I did add (as previous reviewers mentioned) some nutmeg to the peaches and some cinnamon + brown sugar on top. I would give this a 4.5**, but to be a 5 it needs a little bit MORE filling. Adding another can of drained peaches would likely do the trick. Thanks!

A friend told me of a similar recipe and it was GREAT! Also, for a change, you can use cherry pie filling with a little added water and a chocolate cake mix - instant chocolate covered cherry taste! Try it - you will like it!

I made this last night for a party at my job. I found it to be very easy to put together and the ingredients were readily available. I did make a few changes, I kept the basic recipe but added some freshly ground nutmeg to the peach mixture, as well as I put some butter pieces in the mixture, and I sprinkled the top with cinnamon and some brown sugar. It was delish!! It's a good recipe if you don't want to spend time in the kitchen and make something that will wow the crowd!

This is delicious! My husband won't stop asking me to make it! After making it the first time though I decided to drain one of the cans of peaches because it seemed a little too runny. VERY simple, yet tasty!!
