Incredibly delicious and so simple to make. I used blueberry pie filling instead of canned peaches and still turned out great. I also topped with Cool Whip, which melted the minute it hit the cobbler...amazing!!! I can't wait to play more with this recipe. One thing...be sure to watch the cobbler as it's baking as mine was nearly burnt before the 20 minute mark.

So simple and so good---just enough flavor for most people. I'd never cooked peaches prior to baking. That is a great idea. I also chop the peaches with my kitchen shears so they will spread throughout the batter. Thanks again. I love simple.

YUMMY!!!!! This was a very basic recipe and I had my doubts at first but it turned out great. As someone posted I used 6 fresh peaches and boiled them to get the skin off. I also added raspberries and sprinkled the top with white and brown sugar. Very delish. I ate all up in a few days. Definately will make this again.

Since I didn't have canned peaches, I took a few pounds of fresh peaches and sliced them (without peeling, 'cause I'm a little lazy) and tossed them into a saucepan and sprinkled with 1/4 cup of sugar. I let the sugar sit for a bit, to pull some of the juices out then I turned on the heat and brought it to a gentle simmer. I tasted the syrup/peach concoction to make sure it was sweet enough. I followed the recipe and finished assembling the dish. It did overflow a little bit in the oven but I know I used more peaches than the recipe called for. The results were fantastic. Everyone who tasted it at my husbands work asked if it was made with fresh peaches and begged for the recipe. I love this recipe!!

This was definitely easy to make! I added a little vanilla to the batter and used about a pound of fresh peaches that had been frozen. Another plus is that with a double batch, I had so much juice left over that I made Peach Sorbet!

This recipe was super!! :) I was out of peaches, so I just used a can of dark cherry pie filling instead and it was great. The middle was a little runny still, like the cobbler part wasn't done yet, but I'm sure a few extra minutes in the oven would have fixed that.

Having a basket full of fresh Ontario peaches in the fridge - peach cobbler seemed like a great idea. This peach cobbler was VERY easy to make. I used about 10 fresh peaches (peeled by dropping them into boiling water for one minute and then dunking them into cold water to slip off their peels) which I boiled with the juice of 1/2 a lemon and some water. I also substituted 1 cup of self rising flour and omitted the baking powder and salt. Finally, I topped off the cobbler with 1/4 cup packed brown sugar and a heaping 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. Delicious!

I used the conversion chart and doubled the recipe but only used 1/2 a stick of butter. I used 2 29 oz, cans of peaches cutting most of the peaches in 1/2 again. I sprinkled cinnamon on top along with brown sugar and white sugar. I baked it in a 9x13 pan at 400* for 30 min. Took it to the church supper and never had so many compliments on a peach cobbler. I think bringing the peaches to a boil and putting them on top of the batter right away has a lot to do with it. The best ever. I give this recipe 8 stars.

This was so easy. The first time I made it I was out of milk so I used melted vanila ice cream, it was so good, my boyfriend thought I was a genuis. The next time I used cherries and milk. Ice cream is much better. I also added cinnamon and 2 cans of peaches. It's a keeper.

I followed this recipe exactly, but it just didn't turn out as expected. Maybe I should have cooked it longer or added less milk. The dough bakes into a some-what bland "cake" with all the peaches and juice at the bottom. (I prefer a less-sweet, pie crust texture.) I would suggest thickening the juice with cornstarch before adding to the pan or use a canned pie filling. I pitched this one, because nobody would eat it. I will try again another day with my alterations.

Drive home after a hard day at work, my boyfriend calls and tells me he has been thinking of peach cobbler all day long. I remain calm, get onto all recipes and bingo, Martha's Peach Cobbler is there. Thank you Martha! This was delicious and got me 10 stars with the boyfriend.

I made this tonight for my husband for Father's Day. He is on his second helping as I type this. He said that it is very good. I will have to trust his opinion since I don't eat cobbler. I will be making this for my family many more times to come. Thank you for the recipe!

We are enjoying this cobbler as I type this review. It is delicious, and SO simple! We are moving in a few days, and needed to find a simple recipe with what we have left on hand. This recipe is perfect, and could work well with any other filling! The sweetness of the bread/cake is just right! Thank you for sharing this with us!
