Had to use limes as no lemons available....and it really came out quite tasty. I also added about .5-1 tsp of vanilla extract to the fruit mix. My peaches were more sour, but the sweetness of the blueberries was a welcome flavor.

I am writing this review as I eat it (warm with whipped cream) - it is very good! I added a bit of cinnamon to the topping and I didn't have mace, so my version was modified a bit. I would say the pecans are definitely optional. I used fresh fruit - both nectarines and peaches, and blueberries.

Liked this recipe because it called for frozen or fresh fruit.
