Made this last night for dinner and it was a hit! I did not have any green onion so added 1/4 t. onion powder instead. My husband decided to come home for lunch today which he normally does not do, said he wanted to have some more of the pasta salad that he'd been thinking about! He's a picky eater so that is quite a testimat.

Yummy! I doubled the garlic and found it to be perfect. The dressing is also great for a dip or lettuce salad.

Another keeper! The dressing is terrific and sauteing the garlic and basil provides an additional flavor booster. I doubled the garlic simply because I wanted that to be more pronounced and wound up with an extremely flavorful dish. Excellent! Thank you for sharing this recipe!

I'm surprised more people haven't tried this recipe. I made this for Memorial Day and it was a big hit. The dressing is fabulous - even the kids ate it despite the blue cheese. I doubled the dressing and used dijon instead of honey mustard. Also, 2 & 1/2 cups of uncooked pasta is basically one box. So, be sure to double the dressing. We don't care for cauiflower, so I just did 1 cup of chopped red pepper and 2 cups of cherry tomatoes. I let this sit overnight and the dressing was basically soaked up by the pasta so I was lucky I had enough blue cheese left over to make another batch of dressing to put over it. Overall, it's very good and worth the effort especially when there's nothing left in the bowl - you know your guests enjoyed it!

this is worth the effort! Took it to a work function and everyone loved it...the only change I made was to use 2 garlic cloves instead on one.
