Made the "breakfast sausage" from this site using ground turkey instead of ground pork. Used red pepper, onion and garlic to our preference. Added can no salt diced tomatoes, chicken bouillillon granules, worcestershire sauce, basil and thyme and 2 cups un-cooked elbow noodles (did not have bow tie pasta). Used mixture of water and chicken broth to taste. Added mixed frozen veggies too. You may have to add more liquid as the noodles soak up the juice. Did not use the sugar or salt. Topped with 1T grated parm cheese and crushed red pepper flakes per bowl.

This was very good! I used Jimmey Dean sausage & browned then I cooked for a few hours in chicken broth with onions & peppers & added the pasta in the last 20-30 minutes. Everyone really liked it. I will keep this & use it again! Very easy !! Thanks

I did what another reviewer suggested and used 1/2 chicken broth in place of all the water. The flavors blended together nicely and it was very filling. It seemed a little salty though, so next time I'll only add 1/2 tsp. salt instead of 1 tsp.

We really enjoyed this. I used smoked turkey sausage as that's all I had. Subbed chicken broth for half the water. Added a few more veggies, some dried basil, and red pepper flakes. Great with warm French bread!
