This recipe was great! Of course, I can't help but change it: I only had Polish sausage, and not enough, so I added 2 chicken breasts. I also added 2 more cloves of garlic, and used Thai noodles in stead of pasta. No fresh basil, so I added 2 Tbsp dried basil. We'll definately make this again. Thanks!

this recipe is great. my 2 year old ate it. I had to use canned tomatoes, due to the recall of tomatoes. I also add just a hint of celery salt.

I thought this recipe was great! Like other users, I reccommend using a 15 oz can of diced tomatoes instead of fresh ones. The juice from the tomatoes creat a very nice base sauce for the pasta so you don't have to add any extra oil.

What a wonderful dish! I presented it in a cooking class at church and received rave reviews. This recipe makes 7 cups and freezes well for the next go 'round. My modifications: bulk turkey Italian sausage, canned diced tomatoes with basil & garlic, zucchini and summer squash, broccoli, cauliflower & carrot mix, can of mushroom pieces, 1/4 c olive oil, green & red bell peppers and an Italian cheese blend w/ Parmesan, Asiago, Mozzarella and Provolone. This dish was 'tha bomb'!!

This was really good! I added mushrooms, some balsamic vinaigrette and substituted eggplant for the yellow squash since the grocery store was out. We really enjoyed it and will make again... light and tasty!

Yummy! I changed some of the ingredients because of my families likes and dislikes. I omitted the squash and zucchini and added fresh button mushrooms. This was a fantastic meal...thanks for sharing!

This recipe was easy, quick and delicious. We are definitely adding it to our rotation. It also allows flexibility. The following changes were due to what I had on hand: Rotelle pasta, red bell pepper, Hillshire Farms Turkey smoked sausage, Better Than Bullion (Superior) Chicken Soup paste. Good job OP! Thanks!

This dish is absolutely amazing! I substituted chicken sausage for turkey sausage and I used rotini pasta instead of farfalle. But I thought it had just the right amount of "kick" and even my 5 year old loved it!! We will definitely make this one again!!

Wasn't impressed with this - too spicey and the flavor wasn't great to me. If I were to make it again, I would not use Hot Italian Turkey Sausage and red pepper flakes, it was way overpowering with the hot/spicey, and I would need do some changing with the flavor of it.

This is fantastic and simple, however, I changed it up quite a bit. I did not use chicken boullion, squash, or bell pepper. I used broccoli and added toasted pine nuts. Really, you could add just about anything. The toasted pine nuts were the best addition, I think. We all loved this.

Everyone in my family loved this, including my daughter. Only changes I made were using ground turkey sausage, omitted the red pepper flakes and green pepper and did not include as many tomatoes. We all love this. Thanks for sharing.

This is a great recipe and is easy to tweak according to your likes/dislikes. I also use one can of diced tomatoes (if I don't have any fresh) and I don't add green pepper. I also don't add as much parmesan cheese as it calls for. I've used the farfelle pasta but my favorite to use with it is campanelle. This recipe is a favorite of my husbands. And mine!

So tasty! This recipe will definitely be cooked more often. My boyfriend loved it as well! The Italian turkey sausage was absolutely delicious. I was snacking on it while the veggies were cooking up. I followed other people's suggestions and added a can of diced tomatoes with basil, oregano, and garlic flavoring, less olive oil, a mix of parmesan and romano grated cheese and a pack of mushrooms.

Love this recipe; have already made it twice! I sub a can of diced tomato for the fresh and skip the bouillon. The juice from the canned tom's helps make a nice sauce. I also use way less than 1/2 cup oil, and add some tomato sauce at the end. Highly recommended!
