Very tasty! I only used about 1/3 cup of olive oil, and about 1/2 the pasta called for. I also substituted mushrooms for the bell pepper. I really like this as an alternative to red sauce. I also love the fact that it incorporates lots of fresh veggies. Yum!

Delicious!! I made this recipe last night for my family. My 16 year old is always very "honest" with her opinions about my cooking. Needless to say, she helped herself to a considerable second serving. Enough said for me!! I only made one change, I used pork sausage in place of the turkey sausage. My girls really enjoy sausage for breakfast and I felt they would prefer the pork over the turkey. Thanks for a great recipe. It's a keeper!!

What a flavorful dish! A delicious treat from the same old everyday meal! I used dried basil & added fresh mushrooms.

Used Italian hot sausage, as I couldn't find Italian turkey sausage, also added asparagus, as I had it on hand. Loved the recipe. Would probably cut up the basil next time and add it at the last minute.

The basil flavor in this dish was delicious. Loved it, loved it. I used lots of mushrooms and basil and didn't have any tomatoes handy so I used a can of tomato paste and that worked really well. Lots of diced sweet onion and garlic too. Thanks for a great recipe!

Loved it, simple & tasty. Used Kielbasa & whole wheat macaroni. Didn't use all the oil. Assembled it at the end & sprinkled cheese on top. It was so good!

A little on the bland side for us I guess. I did add a can of diced tomatoes and a can of tomato sauce. I used ground sausage instead of ring sausage. I like all of the stuff together, I would just like to find a great sauce to top it off with!

Delicious. This gave me a new love for squash/zucchini, which I can usually only take in very small amounts. With this recipe, I was picking through to add vegetables to every bite. I did leave out the red pepper, simply b/c neither of us like that taste. And I did cut back on the basil for taste, and I cut WAY back on the oil for health reasons and it was still good.

This dish is astounding. I used grilled chicken instead of turkey sausage, and went heavy on all the seasonings. That was two weeks ago, and my husband-- who is not into vegetables at all-- STILL has not stopped raving about it. Excellent balance of textures, amaing flavor. Don't use dried basil instead of fresh-- the flavor of the fresh basil is irreplacible. My favorite recipe off this site so far!

My new favorite! My boyfriend loved it too, and he HATES veggies. I made the changes that others suggested. 15 oz canned tomatoes, but I also added a small can of tomato sauce. Chicken instead of sausage, and cut the oil just about in half. The best is the fresh basil, it is the first time I used it, and what a wonderful flavor!

This dish is absolutely delicious! I used sweet Italian sausage, cut back on the red pepper a bit, and subbed mushrooms for the green peppers. Definately a repeat recipe, so thanks Kathy!

Tastes great and simple to make. I used mild turkey sausage because it was in my freezer, but the red pepper flakes gave the dish enough of a zip. I also substituted mushrooms for green peppers.

This was wonderful! Thank you. Such a nice alternative to plain old pasta with meatballs and sauce. I always use whole grain pasta and it turned out beautifully. As other reviewers suggested, it's best to reduce the amount of oil - I used just enough to cover the pan and flavor the veggies. Will definitely make this again.

This was very good!! I am surprised, because it didn't seem like there would be much flavor, but boy was I wrong! The only changes I made were that I used crushed tomatoes because I didn't have fresh, changed the noodles, added mushrooms, and a splash of non fat milk to make the sauce sort of creamy. Excellent!

I really liked this I had everything and thought what the heck try it I would make this again. I didn't have the turkey so I used regular brats(I'm not a big fan of brats but I like this.) I would make this again I also used canned tomatoes. Very good.
