This was excellent! I used smoked turkey sausage and a can of diced tomatoes in place of the roma's. This makes a ton and we love leftovers! Will definitely make this one again - thanks for sharing!

Wonderful! I took the advice from another reviewer and used a 15-oz. can of diced tomatoes with onions and garlic instead of fresh ones - would do that again. I also cut way down on the olive oil to reduce the fat - used only 1/8 cup total, and it was plenty. I omitted the red pepper flakes and was glad I did - using hot sausage was plenty spicy. I also threw in 1/4 cup of red wine - made it smell so good. Don't forget to remove the casings from the sausage before cooking! Thanks for the recipe - this one's a keeper!

This recipe is OUTSTANDING! I make minor changes to it and it comes out delicious everytime. I use one 15oz can of diced tomatoes (w/Basil,Oregano,Garlic flavoring) in place of the Roma tomatoes, I use Romano cheese in place of the Parmesan and I use a total of 1/4 cup of oil instead of the 1/2 cup. I love it with the turkey sausage but have also made it with grilled chicken. This is now my favorite recipe!!!!

This was really good. I added mushrooms and cut back on the oil. Used can rotell tomatoes (it was all I had on hand). We loved this!

Loved it! I made mine with sweet sausage, as the addition of the red pepper flakes made it plenty spicy for me.

Followed the recipe. EXCEPT I could not find fresh basil at our store. I loved it! I will use this recipe again. It's very light. And not too spicy. Just enough to give it a kick.

This was pretty good.....full of flavor and fairly east to make. I did not have any turkey sausage, so I use sweet italian, and it worked out beautifully. I reduced the entire recipe to serve 4, and it can't wait to have the left overs. A keeper that will be done again.

This is a fantasic, flavorful dish. My husband absolutely loves it! The only change I had to make was I found only sweet sausage rather than hot at the grocery store. It still was great! The serving size is very generous so we get more than one meal out of it and also lunches.

This is a great recipe! I used turkey sausage the first time I made it and it wasn't that good so I use beef/pork sausage now. I substituted a pablano pepper instead of the bell pepper, added lots of extra squash since it's one of my favorite vegetables, and used whole wheat organic penne pasta. With the whole wheat pasta, this really is a very healthy dish as well as tasty!

This was simple and delicious. I used regular pork Italian sausage and left out the green pepper. I also added some extra cheese. This is a really good "company recipe". Looks pretty and tastes great!

This recipe was OK. It was very fresh tasting - a good summer meal. It did not have enough flavor for my family. If I make it again, I will try adding extra seasonings...

I loved this, even after being overly concerned that the tomatoes would get cooked down too much. The sauce was perfect and light. The only thing I would change next time is either use sweet italian chicken sausage or leave out the crushed red pepper. I found the heat a tad overpowering from the hot sausage and the red pepper together.

This recipe has become a part of the rotation. My husband doesn't care for squash so I have used asparagus or broccoli, it always turns out great. We love it.
