I thought this recipe was missing something in flavor....not sure what yet. However, my husband (who doesn't like pizza) loved this and went back for seconds. I left out the mushrooms, but added bell peppers and baby spinach leaves. I will definitely try this again with some different spices and toppings. Thanks!

I am not a big venison fan, because of the gamey taste, but my dad is a very big hunter and gave mesome free meat so I figured I would give this a try. This is a great recipe that masks the gamey tastes completely! I did make a few minor adjustments though. I used 2 jars of pizza sauce, minced garlic to the meat, a little diced onions, and italian seasoning. I also used black olives instead of mushrooms and lots of peperonis! This is definatly a keeper!

Sorry. We were not very impressed. I used venison breakfast sausage instead of just gourn venison and we still didn't think it had much flavor. My better half said he would not ask to have it again.

Excellent. My kids ate it all and wanted more. I added ricotta for some extra zing.

Easy & tasty. Be sure to use the 15oz can of pizza sauce. I used a 14 oz jar and it wasn't too bad, however, that 1 oz would have made a difference. Very flexible recipe. Add anything you like! I added more cheese b/c my husband likes a lot of gooey cheese.

We always have venison on hand, so I love finding recipes like this one! This was pretty good, and everyone seemed to like it. I added italian seasoning, garlic, and pepperonis.

My picky kids loved this and even asked for seconds! I used whole wheat pasta and substituted half of the venison burger with venison sausage which gave it a great flavor. This tastes pretty much like pizza with the pasta substituting the crust so you can add anything to it that you would a pizza.

I used ground sausage instead of venison--and it was a huge hit in my family!

I love this recipe because you can add anything you want. Sometimes I add cut up pepperoni, green pepper, or black olives, etc. Easy way to use ground venison. You can also change the noodles to whatever you have on hand.

Very good. Used Tomato Basil sauce by Barilla. Increased venison to 1.5 pounds with corresponding increases in other ingredients.
