These tasted good but were a pain to make. My hands were very sore the next day from all the hard kneading required to get this to come together. I was expecting them to turn out like the little Hickory Farms Meltaway Mints that have the white nonpareils on the bottom but they're more like the chalky after dinner/butter mints.

Been searching for this recipe for days, since unfortunately my mother no longer has it due to a house fire :( . Suggestion on hardening them up although, is stick them in a sealed container, separated by wax paper if you desire, and stick them in the fridge.

I really do like the flavor of these, but it took mine nearly two full days to harden up the way I wanted them. Next time I will try forcing more powdered sugar into the recipe. Oh, and I used the back of a spoon to flatten them because I didn't want them to look like peanut butter cookies! :)

I HAVE ALWAY'S LOVED PATTIES. I JUST LOVE THE WAY THEY MELT WHEN YOU EAT THEM,THIS WAS A VERY GOOD RECIPE,TASTED JUST LIKE THE ONE'S YOU BUY IN THE STORE. These were ok. I didn't dislike them but I wont be craving them anytime soon. I've made other party mints that had more of a minty flavor without all the butter.

These are wonderful! Creamy and minty and just right. I wanted something like the cream cheese mints my mom used to make, but since I can't eat cheese anymore I'm very happy to have found this recipe. Thanks to the poster!
