I make this a lot. Splurge on real dried beef from the butcher. The canned stuff is just too salty! YUM!

I have used this recipe for many years, and it is wonderful. I read the review from Jalal2...BACON ???? Nowhere in this recipe is bacon called for. Dried beef is what you are supposed to use ! You buy dried sliced beef in a jar, made by Armour at the grocery in the section where you will find canned meats !! OMG !!

Yummy! To keep the bacon from getting soggy I just put the beef ,chicken & bacon in the pan & cook 30 min or so then I pour the soup/sour cream sauce over& cook another 20 min . ALSO...I saute chopped onion, celery & carrots and mix this with the sauce. It really adds a LOT of flavor!
