I made this for a church event and it was a hit. I used Basmati rice cooked per the directions on the package and about 1/2 of the minced onion and everyone loved it and was asking for more.

I subbed chicken broth for the water so I didn't need the bouillion. Added some parm for a little extra flavor. My rice lovin' daughter raved! Thanks Kathy!

Very tasty and easy. I originally wanted to ake parmesan, parsley rice and I didn't have any parmesan cheese, oops! So I looked up rice recipes and found this one. I used onion powder insead of minced and it turned out great!! Will make it again I'm sure.

This was really good. I didn't have dried minced onion, so I used half a packet of onion soup mix instead. Also, only used 1 tablespoon of butter and instant brown rice instead of white. Will make again.

I was looking for an easy but tasty rice side dish with items in my cupboard and this fit the bill. I adapted it to jasmine rice because I didn't have instant, and it came out great. Thanks for a new rice side dish in the lineup.
