This was a super easy and yet unique roll recipe. I was glad to use up the parmesan cheese, cornbread mix and butter that I had just waiting to be made into something wonderful. I did not find this bread bland or overly flavorful. Hot out of the oven things always taste less than they do after cooling, but the hot rolls were still delicious, light and fluffy. I only brushed the tops of the rolls with parmesan, instead of rolling in it, and the effect was nice, tasty and decorative. The parmesan flavor really comes out after they cool. I think I ate four rolls with a little spaghetti, and we snacked on them afterwards too. Also, I halved the recipe but got 20 good sized oval rolls. If you like parmesan you should try this recipe.

This is a wonderful recipe! I served these with a vegetable beef soup that I made the other night. It was great! These would be great to make with chili. I got rave reviews from everyone, and can't wait to make them again.

These were very good. The cornmeal does add a nice texture. They had just enough flavor to be tasty without conflicting with the spaghetti we had for dinner.

A wonderful, buttery roll to go with any dinner, but maybe especially with one for the holidays. I brought these to my family's Christmas gathering, and got many compliments - in fact, they were still being picked over long after dessert was finished.

My family loved these rolls. Even our picky 2 year old g-daughter gave these a thumbs up.

I thought these rolls were delicious! I especially liked them the next day as ham sandwiches for lunch. You have to really like parmesan to like these. Some of my kids liked them, some did not. You could also make them without dipping the tops in parmesan, which I will probably do next time. I'm still giving them five stars because I thought they were great!

While these rolls do bake up nicely, crusty outside and soft inside, they are extremely bland and lacking in flavor. Sorry, won't be making these again.
