I had fresh broccoli & cauliflower so I pre-cooked the veggies about half the time I normally would. I drained it and then used it in place of the frozen veggies this recipe called for. I have a large family to feed so I used one can cream of mushroom & one can cream of chicken (didn't have 2 cream of mushroom) and also needed 1 cup parmesan cheese. I cooked the casserole as directed & topped it with cracker crumbs as noted by one other review. This recipe was delightful and a very nice change to an otherwise plain veggie night! Thank you for sharing your recipe with us. I will be making it again this week for a potluck dinner party! : )

Broccoli never got tender and it was fairly bland. I would HIGHLY reccommend cooking the broccoli to almost tender first, better yet, blanch some fresh broccoli and it would be a great improvement. Don't think I will try again as there are tastier versions out there

The cheese flavor really comes through. Mmmmm. I added yellow squash because I had some I needed to use. It fit in perfectly. I also crushed ritz crackers on top like MTFBWY, since that sounded yummy. It was.

I had an abundance of broccoli and cauliflower, so I combined them with a can of mushroom soup and one of cream of chicken. I added grated cheddar along with the parmesan, and this was GREAT!!!! Some crushed chips made a tasty topping. Thanks for this recipe!!!1

This had a good flavor. I added crushed Ritz crackers and melted butter on top, but otherwise followed the recipe as written. I will probably make it again.
