Paradise Pumpkin Pie
SUBMITTED BY:
Karen Owen
"Whenever I take this pie to a holiday party, potluck supper or bake sale, I take along copies of the recipe, too--I'm sure to be asked for it. With the pie's very rich taste, even a sliver is satisfying!"

I find pumpkin pie a bit boring and wanted something a little different, so I decided to try this one. I definitely chose wisely--this is fantastic!! I made it twice in one week, once for work exactly according to the directions and once for my family, substituting Splenda for the sugar (both brown and white). Both times it turned out great. Everyone at work gobbled it up, and my family really enjoyed it--my mom especially who doesn't eat sugar. I will definitely make this again, probably every Thanksgiving. The only other change I made besides the Splenda was that the second time I skipped wrapping the crust in foil, and it was just fine. Thanks for the recipe!

This is a staple for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Easy to make using a blender, and is a hit every single time.

WOW. Excellent pie; the topping was unnecessary in my opinion, but it didn't take away from how great this was either.

I took a risk as I usually only try a recipe that's been reviewed by like 50 people! And I'm so glad I did! This was fabulous! My husband loved it! I added a few dashes of ground cloves and a tiny bit of ground ginger to make certain I'd get that pumpkin pie flavor I love so much. So glad to have another pumpkin recipe! Thanks so much!

Very good pie! It brings together everyone's favorite desserts so we don't have to compromise. I also added more of the pecan topping for a little more crunch.

This was pretty good, but it tasted pretty much like just a pumpkin pie. For all the extra work of the 'cheesecake' layer, I was hoping for something better. Will not make again - plain pumpkin pie is much easier!

I made this for Thanksgiving without trying it ahead of time. I thought it was OK. Everyone else raved! Even weeks afterward they were still complementing me!

Boy was this super good! Although the topping left something to be desired, I think it's not even needed on the pie becuase the cheescake like filling and yummy pumpkin are perfect on there own.
