Bland, bland, bland. The paprika is pretty but does nothing for the flavor. You might as well just eat a plain baked potato.

This is a good recipe, but needs some spices. I added salt, pepper, garlic and onion powders. To cut down on calories and fat, I used butter flavored PAM and baked mine in the oven at 425 covered for 35 minutes, then uncovered for another 15 minutes. Then turned out nice and crispy.

While this is a good concept, I think it came out poorly. It took way to long to cook. And it did not have enough spice to it. I added garlic, pepper, and salt in addition to the paprika, and they were still fairly bland. I would suggest baking or boiling the potatoes PRIOR to cooking these in a pan.

Because I was pressed for time I decided to par boil the potatoes first. I added in some chopped onion, garlic and onion powders and salt and pepper. I also used more paprika than called for. This was a great side went over very well with the family. Thank you Ruth!

Great taste. Simple. Added salt & pepper. Takes longer than 10-15 minutes though to get potatoes cooked well.

Nice easy way to fix potatoes. I opted for olive oil instead of butter and made them as you suggest and yum yum. I thank you for this recipe.

Great recipe! My mom gets Taste of Home and made these all the time when I was in high school. I made them tonight to go with salmon and my husband really loved them. I like them too, and they are SO easy to make. Great recipe, Ruth! (And we love visiting Leavenworth! ;) )
