I personally prefer flat pancakes and really liked how these came out. I also like how this recipe doesn't call for vanilla. I think that adding sugar and vanilla can take the opportunity away from the syrup give it that sweet kick. I have FINALLY found my ideal pancake recipe. THANK YOU!

This was so easy to make and my kids loved it. The only things I changed were instead of using milk I used yogurt and I add vanilla to it. They came out perfect. I had been using the perfect old fashion pancakes recipe, but I like this one much better!

My family loved this recipe! I doubled it and they ate most of them! Super filling! I did add 1tsp vanilla and 2tsp cinnamon and about 4tbsp sugar and 1 3/4 c milk for a double recipe! They came out perfect! So light and fluffy just excellent! Definitely recomend recipe with the adjustments!

This was my first attempt making pancakes and i was sooo surprised that they actually came out awesome!!! i tweaked it a LITTLE, added about double the sugar but it was amazing!!! i think just a hint of vanilla or any other essence to cover up the slightly eggy smell would be nice but this recipe is definitely for keeps!! thanks a lot!

first of all, these tasted a little bland, next time i will add a little vanilaa, so to subsitute for that,my brother had an idea about putting little flower cookie cutters into the pancake and then dusting the flowers with powderd sugar and sprinkles for mothers day. they were very easy to make but it only makes two large pancakes. this recipe is great, if you add vanilla!

Perfect if they're mixed minimally, leaving lumps, to make a fluffy cake and not a tough one from overworked wheat gluten. I like to let them rest for a bit until they rise a little. You can add almost anything to them too. Fail proof and classic.

I will never buy boxed pancake mix again. This is so easy, and it is absolutely delicious. I added a little vanilla to mine, but they'd be just as good without it.

I love pancakes and this recipe is delicious. I pre-made my batter and left it in the refrigerator. I made enough for a few days too. Can't wait to have them again tomorrow. If you pre-make don't stir the batter before making your pancakes and you will have fluffier pancakes to eat. Thanks for sharing.

I am not sure what I did wrong cuz everyone else from the site seems to like them. The pancakes were flat(even though I let the dough rest) and really didn't have any flavor. My 3 year old didn't even eat them and she LOVES pancakes. I won't make this again.

I had never made pancakes before. This recipe is very easy and the pancakes are good. I chose this recipe because I wanted to use vegetable oil instead of butter. I put the batter in a squeeze bottle and made letters. My 3 year old daughter had a lot of fun eating them with nutella. Thanks for a good recipe.

Great!!! I substituted whole wheat pastry flour and rice milk and they were still light and fluffy. Didn't even refrigerate the batter as some suggested. This is my new pancake recipe. Thanks!!!
